There is no better way of ending a stressful day at work than to come home and get completely destroyed by Halo Ninjas. This is the ramblings of someone who is either not that good, cannot devote several hours a day everyday honing his skills, or simply does not find it that fun to sit in a corner with a shotgun launching holograms or hiding in camo the entire match … I have a job and hobbies and a life that does not take place entirely in front of screens (not that there’s anything wrong with those who do) and I haven’t turned enjoying a game into a science, so I die a lot … and frequently. Therefore, I often get all sadface and play campaign … on normal … grunt birthday.
I know there are others in the same boat, so here is my idea:
Halo: Short Bus … for the casual gamer who actually likes to have a bit of fun. Only those with low CSRs and negative K/Ds are allowed. It’s for those with fulltime jobs, kids to raise, or who just plain suck and therefore cannot be Halo Ninjas. We earn achievements for things like not dozing off during map voting, or having to wait until our spouce or significant other is asleep and sneaking a game at 3AM with the headphones on only to forget and accidentally yell vulgarities “Woke The Baby: 25G”. We can earn special armor to give our Spartans beer guts and emblems like a silouette of “Dad Passed Out in Reclyner” … Halo Short Bus: for the busy, aging, or inept gamer.
I hear you. Halo 4’s matchmaking isn’t very good at all at matching me with other players at around my skill level. In most games, I’m either dominating the competition while my teammates are getting destroyed, or I’m getting dominated by the competition because my teammates are getting destroyed. It sucks.
OMG this made me laugh. That was such a funny post. I totally agree with you. Halo MM must be tuff for you. All you have to do is try a little harder and you will get better. If there was more people playing this game that playlist would probably work. It would keep guys like you off my team, lol, not to be rude. lol

This unfortunately. BTB might be able to get adequate matches due to always being the playlist with the highest population, but some playlists are numbering in the hundreds of players, even a very well written algorithm would have difficulty matching teams evenly.
This is an area I tend to cut 343 a lot of slack in. Some programming changes would be very easy, but trying to match 2 different groups together when each member of the team has a different skill is quite the task. This is compounded when higher level players bring in their lower level friends. It would be easy if it were just “Match this team of CSR 50s against this team of CSR 50s”, but that perfect scenario rarely presents itself.
This thread was locked due to the offensive nature of the title. While the satire itself had merit please avoid thread titles or content that is offensive in future. Feel free to make a new thread without those issues OP.
