Bro, you literally do not understand the words, “Unique” or “Stagnation”.

FromSoft did it and they are one of the most beloved game developers in the norther Hemisphere.
They games they produced iterate on its fundamentals and sharpens them to perfection.

Yet nothing has stagnated about their games, each iteration targets the weaknesses of the previous iterations combat. Even when the make a departure from the normal, its still an iteration on its fundamentals.

What 343i has done has made it a habit of Throwing out Halo’s fundamentals.

They Threw out the Balance Triangle in Halo4,
They Threw out Movement Symmetry and Map Design in Halo 5,

They’re changing things, not to refine the base gameplay, but to get rid of it.

343i are chasing STAGNANT Ideas, that have been done to death in literally every other shooter to exist in the last 15 year.

They are not focusing and refining on Ideas UNIQUE to Halo and its Arena Sandbox.

You’re literally describing Core features of 2010’s Call of Duty games.

Again, this is Denial.
You need to get out of Denial.

Funny how you only snip this sentence fragment out of a whole 3 Paragraphs of a reply.
There is an entire post here that you’re refusing to recognize,

And frankly I’m going to assume its because you know you’re wrong and you aren’t willing to be a decent person and admit it and move on.

Those were also literally the only CoD elements in Halo 4, everything else was still Halo features. Sounds like you’re just butthurt there are people out there who prefer 4 to 3.

Because I’m not wrong. This community has such a toxic vile hatred towards anything even remotely CoD like that they lose what they call a mind whenever even the SLIGHEST change is made to Halo, not just the big stuff but the little stuff too.

This community is the second worst and most vile community in gaming, the first is playstation fanboys, congratulations, you haven’t hit rock bottom yet.

Loadouts broke Halo 4 dude.
Halo 4 peaked at 410,000 players online on DAY 2 of going live.
And then dropped to 20,000 players online on a good day a year later.

To put that in perspective, Halo 3 PEAKED at 1,808,888 players online in 2008 and then saw its first day of dropping below 200,000 players live ONLY when Halo Reach released.
Halo Reach paked at around 900,000 players online and a year later saw the good days being around 500,000 players online and on the lower days after a year of being live it saw AT LEAST 300,000 players online.

Halo fans want Halo.
If they want Call of Duty, guess what?
We ALSO buy Call of Duty.
I have all the Halo games and just about all of the CoDs.
If I am in the mood for Halo, I play Halo.
Maybe I am in the mood for CoD, Battlefield, Rainbow Six, Metal Gear, or Gears of War on some other days.

Imagine if in a Jealousy Gambit bid to try to get a new audience of players (even though you have a massive dedicated audience of players), Halo decided to add in cover-shooter mechanics to try and beat Gears of War?

The Jealousy Gambit has never worked. It is a trend that went RAGING in the 2010s and THANKFULLY it is a trend that is dying out.
