Shop Creeping back to Release Day Prices

$60 campaign, $10 battlepasses. The store has no right to exist in the first place.

No compromise. Until the store is removed entirely I’m not even touching Infinite again.

You do realize that CoD wasn’t the first game to use sprint right? That would be Super Mario Bros. for the NES.

Reach had sprint in it too, but people tend to forget that.

It’s okay, I’m noy buying anything from the store that is priced how it was back at Launch. If they raise the prices again and keep it that way then I ain’t spending. Easy as that.

Well, that would be because you’d typically have a lot more customization option in the base game to start with. And even if there were was paid armor, they wouldn’t charge you $20 for a single set.

Just look at Halo 3, Reach and 4. Hell, even 5 was fair to a certain degree.

Haven’t visited this server or played infinite in months, crazy to see literally nothing has changed except the armor in the game

I get that you’re trying to be a deranged reddit personality,
but dial it back lol.

Unless…
are you saying that unironically?
Please tell me you are, I refused to believe anyone is that stupid.

You did it just fine. Some people are dumb as rocks

There’s no way you actually think Halo 4 would’ve been regarded as one of the great Halo’s solely based off if it launched with firefight.

You can’t genuinely be serious. Some of you people vastly overestimate how popular firefight ever was. Let this be clear, firefight was well regarded as the least enjoyable mode in Halo Reach and seen as the only source of multiplayer content in ODST. These are the facts.

Firefight was never as popular as you people keep making it out to be.

People aren’t forgetting that Reach had sprint. What people, you, seem to forget, is that, in order to use sprint, you couldn’t use any of the other useful armor abilities in the game.

Your nuts if you think fire fight isn’t that popular

Not only that, 4 had the best armor earn functionality, and fun maps. An awesome gimmick to it’s infection mode and again, ops was ahead of it’s time.

Fire fight remains one of the only options to play PvE outside of campaign till the possibility of AI in forge.

I’m just pointing out how stupid the “It’s like Cod because of sprint” argument actually is.

Just know I too enjoy Halo 4 and find it to be one of the more enjoyable Halo titles, you aren’t alone.

oh, so you needed it in the “loadout” got it.

How is that nuts? That was literally the least played and least enjoyed mode in Halo Reach. It was a tacked on mode that literally took a week to make. It’s thoughtless.

Halo 4 did have a great achievement armor system, but the armor almost always looked like grabage along with the fact that there were DLC armor that you had to buy. That and the weapon/armor decals/skins looked even more atrocious.

Infection in Halo 4 effectively killed custom games and forge, so try not to praise that whatsoever.

Lastly, people’s desire to mindlessly play against waves of AI is certainly not a priority and certainly wouldn’t have kept a game like Halo 4 alive. It takes only a small bit of intuition to know this. Spartan OPs was BETTER.

Fire fight isn’t just about waves of endless it’s a last stand.

Also, yes you’re dang right ops was better and personally I hope something like ops comes back!

My hope is that we can have an open world ops like mode with increasing difficulty as you progress the objectives and finish with a boss fight.

I’ve made posts here before on how I think FireOps would be a great name and a great game type. And honestly it should be a slight priority. There is a good portion of fanbase waiting for a form of PvE outside campaign to return

And I seriously disagree about infection. H5’s infection and other social modes were awesome. H4 had a crappy forge system so it really doesn’t surprise me modes like oddball flag slayer variants and infection dominated the field.

When it comes to armor looks, that’s personal opinion, but you can’t deny the berth of customization available and the means to access them was extremely user friendly. Also I don’t disagree AT ALL the dlc was garbage and wasn’t worth the money.

Me bringing up Spartan OPs was to point out that, even with a feature that most people liked more than firefight, that the game still died after 4 months. Firefight wouldn’t have changed that. Firefight is an afterthought and really shouldn’t be given any light of day until the rest of the game is functional and properly added.

It could be the best most polished mode. Perfectly balanced waves, but firefight boils down to waves of enemies with no goal. It’s nothing like zombies, which had actual depth. If we get firefight, it can’t be anything like it was in Halo Reach, ODST, or 5. It would need a complete revamp so that it actually contests with zombies in COD.

Hence my suggestion it follows something like the campaign

They were ok with lowering the prices until they realized this game was rapidly dieing so there were less people buying stuff at those lower prices so they bumped them up

I don’t know what you’re smoking, but that’s not how that works at all. If you’re a company desperate to get people to spend money on your cosmetics, you lower your prices to make them more enticing to potential buyers.
