Its not cheating bud, if it was there would at least be a chance that it could be fixed in a timely manner. The game is just broken.

Yes it does suck like most of the game, they donāt care about fans only consumption and itās sad to see people defending this disgrace in any shape or form. Canāt tell you how many times Iām getting shot through walls or donāt die until I take 5 steps behind a wall. I actually witness it myself also, kills wonāt register for half to a whole second.

What are you talking about. I have the video clips that show that he was shooting through walls. I watched the replay of the match from his perspective. He pointed with the gun on the wall and when the recticle became red he just pulled the trigger.
That was not desync or lag, this player was using a mod.
Iām pretty sure it doesnāt work like that, that kind of comparative computation usually happens server-side, so you canāt modify this on a user-side computer. Itās different with the game showing you things you shouldnāt see like seeing through walls - displaying is done user-side. But calculating hits usually is done server-side to avoid such exploits. Hence it has to be some kind of desync issue where you see something different than what the server sees.
They are working on fixing a whole game mode right now - BTB, which is liked by a lot of players, and which is pretty much broken now. Iām pretty sure given some time theyāll catch up to other problems too. The game is still quite new and needs some ironing, and squashing of bugs done.
100%. It would be insane for a game to use dedicated servers and not be server authoritative. The matchmaking sticking players in out of region servers + Desync is much, much more likely to blame for this.
It makes you wonder how many people are reporting cheats when its simply the fault of the netcode and matchmaking.
They apparently added extra telemetry reports in the last patch which will also have a slight detrimental effect on the already dubious connections.
Its gonna take them a long, long time to fix the issues with Infinite, apparently Slipspace is a super complicated engine to work with, so much so it was considered during development on if it should be dropped and moved over to unreal engine during development. They ended up sticking with SS, hopefully its not to Infinites downfall.
But will also help to diagnose the problems, which gives some hope for the future 
No Manās Sky comes to mind. A game with huge potential and hype that was initially heavily criticized as unfinished and lacking many features which obviously should be there from the start. Then the development team got to work on patching it up and getting additional content into the game, and now 6 years later it has a big playerbase, very good reviews, and a constant stream of fresh content updatesā¦
Iām hoping 343 can pull off the same thing, as itās quite obvious to me that Infinite has a huge potential, even if it has a rough start.
A AAA developer with employees who have high levels of education releases an unfinished game with broken multiplayer and im supposed to feel bad? I dont think so. 343 has proven to fans with this issue and many others they do not care about us or our experience. They dont even know how to fix BTB let alone the Desync that is plaguing this game so bad I dont even want to play anymore.
6 years is a long time. I wonder what the burn rate is on a project this large is in comparison. I never followed no manās sky to be honest.
Infinite does have huge potential though, I do agree on n that, I just hope they are not too limited by sticking with the slip space engine⦠from what Iāve read itās awful to work with.
I repeat it again. I know exactly what desync, lag and connection issue are. Delayed shot registration, grenades that explode 1-2 second later and so on.
It was a ranked CTF match on the map Bazar. This PC player was not in a spot where he could shot from a window, or entrance, then step back around a corner.
This PC Player was on the other side on the passage on the first floor. We were defending our flag on our spot. He shot with the BR through walls, he shot with an EMPTY rocket launcher through the wall. Or was the message that i saw from his perspective āno ammo leftā also desync?
The desync is a shift of about 1-2 second where the server has a syncronisation issue. Thats the reason why you think āi was shot around the cornerā. But you where shot before you turned around the corner. Thats a complete other issue than a wallhack.
Just take your time. Search for wall hacks halo inifnite on the web. You will find plenty of them. Just watch some of the videos and read some of the articles.
The server side hit registration worked as intended. The shot to my head were registered. This cheats are using the standard server mechanism, it does not replace them.
