What do ya’ll think of this. I’m shocked honestly. There had been an artice on Yahoo the other day about fans giving death threats to the critics or something at Rotten Tomato. Maybe this is what they meant? But still to drive someone to do this? It’s Satanic.

If any of you on Waypoint lived near Aurora or in Denver itself, I hope that you are ok and my deepest go out to the friends and family that have been afflicted by this tragic event and if any of you know those people. my sympathies go to you as well.

I honestly wonder how he got into the theater without anyone noticing.

It’s a big crowd, all he would have to do is hide his gear under his shirt or jacket get in and wait a good bit then come out. It’s a movie premiere a good number of people would be there so it was easy for him to blend in.
Although I don’t know who Bane is, I’m just trying to figuire out what would drive someone to do this. Hell, a 3 month old is in critical condition which downright pisses me off as well as a 6 year old. 12 people are dead, who would hate the movie so much to do this? If theres anything I don’t understand its this.

There are many kinds of collapsible rifles that fold and screw into itself. Perhaps he had one of those in his pants. As for the gas mask and body armor, it was a midnight showing. Lots of people in costume there, and honestly his costume could have looked like a makeshift Bane outfit.

Bane is the bad guy terrorist in the Dark Knight Rises so we can sort of see what’s going on here.

that is crazy, all for reviews and kill the people watching the movie for the first time? that makes a lot of sense, then I guess people who kill others never do make sense.
When I get home from work they will probably have a more defined reason why he did what he did … ahhh what a world.

Ok so this man is portraying Bane, but for what reason? The chances of a shooting in a movie theater are 1 in a million. You’d have to have some kind of pyschotic mind in order to accomplish something of this magnitude, to go into a movie theater and start shooting blindly at everyone.

Is that not usually the case?
Look into Batman, villains like Bane are declared criminally insane and are sent to Arkham Asylum and also look at my post at the top about this could being a Republican and Democratic fight.
While it is a tragedy, this has nothing to do with Xbox or video games. This isn’t the place to talk about this.

I’d say the OP didn’t realize Yo! is the off-topic thread because it is sorta hard to realize that is the off-topic thread just by looking at Yo!
I would not make this topic political because that probably has nothing to do with it, I am a conservative but I dont listen to Rush that was one of the most moronic statements he has ever made.
But remember these forums are not to be political so I wouldnt make accusations like that.
What you need to look at is the facts.
This is not the first time there has been a shooting in a populated area, we have had school shootings as well.
If the person is unstable or their mind has been twisted in such a way to commit a crime in this manner then it would be logical that they would pick an area that is populated to commit the crime.
I dont think there is enough known at this time but what we do know is that innocent people died, and it takes a monster to kill innocent women and children.
This person who committed the crime should have every cell in their body punished.

I was literally thinking the exact same thing, I’d like to see it keep the name Yo! but possibly change the post body to something like, please keep all off-topic discussion here.

I’m not accusing anything, all I’m saying is that it’s what I heard Conan talking about last night then I hear about this Batman shooting so I’m just saying that it could be like this I’m not stating it as fact.
