Shoot while sprinting?

After watching the trailer countless times. I have came to the conclusion that you may be able to shoot while sprinting. Its obvious after the part where the spartan deflects the plasma shot and pulls out the BR. I see no noticeable speed difference when he starts shooting.

I think you’re right. That was a good look.

I wonder if sprint is automatically triggered based on your spartan’s movement time and not something that is a user input. Doubt it, but it would be an interesting concept.

That would be more enjoyable and intuitive than having sprint be an ability or something you have to take extra effort to use.

Plus it would retain the arcade style gameplay that was so beloved in the originals.

Personally I would have just made spartan mocement speed overall faster comparative to previous games to account for map size and such but I dont suppose that would actually fix anything

Yeah I agree.

Wow. Nice catch. I watched the trailer countless times and didn’t even notice that a single time. Very interesting.

I honestly just think it’s an animation when you’re not shooting. I see now change to movement speed whatsoever from the few seconds it was shown

Idk if I’ve watched it as many times as you but I don’t see what you’re alluding to.

The trailer is far too stylized for me to identify stuff like that.

Since the first campaign trailer, I was not convinced that Halo Infinite actually had sprint. And after watching today’s trailer, specifically the part where the player shoots out of sprint with the battle rifle, I’m even more convinced. Sprint looks to be animation-only, and it doesn’t actually change your movement speed.

And if there is indeed no change to movement speed, then I think Halo Infinite is truly embracing Halo’s own identity.
