I feel like the balance is off with these weapons, with the plasma pistol being utterly useless next to the shock rifle. Why does the plasma pistol not EMP? That’s the main reason it exists in BTB. Plus the shock rifle being a sniping weapon neuters any vehicle mobility in the area. It should be harder to EMP with the Shock rifle (if at all) with the Plasma pistol being the primary EMP source aside from dynamo grenades.
it’s pretty busted. the shock rifle should disable a vehicle for a second, that’s about it.
Making the Shock Rifle harder to EMP would basically neuter its EMP ability. I would say just make it not spawn as often so that it keeps it core abilities without making it OP.
Plasma Pistol would work fine without EMP if the charged shot was more reliable. I’d say increase the charge shot tracking a tiny bit, and buff the single shot damage vs shields. If the Plasma Pistol loses its EMP due to Shock weapons, it should at least by good at its job of stripping shields (which it isn’t currently)
Absolutely I agree completely! The shock rifle does too much I’m not sure what the plasma pistol is even for any for anymore.
