What does this mean ?
So today while I was watching Halo : Nightfall , in the first episode , I noticed one thing to say the least very connected with the tweet ( What seems…) !
In the first episode is that elite that has started the infection, right?
Now, if you listen well, the Elite says " This is only the beginning "

Nah. It doesn’t mean much. They destroyed the source of that virus/chemical/so-called-element, remember? However, on the flip side, I hardly think that this was their only plan. It makes me wonder what else the Covenant Remnant have in store for humanity. They seem to be getting a little sneakier about their attacks. Humanity only got so far in the Human-Covenant war because the Covenant were [aside from the Arbiter], pretty lousy at tactics and strategy, so a smart Covenant enemy…

At first I though “The end is sad and depressing, but a new, bright future will emerge.”
But now I’m thinking the “end” is referencing the War. We thought the war with the Flood and Covenant ended, but it’s actually just the beginning…

In other words, the events of Halo 5 may seem like the point of no return for the characters, but the trials faced are merely a prelude to the much larger war (Flood) that’s slowly unfolding.

Is only the beginning… PLEASE don’t bring Cortana back. It would ruin the deep and sad moment in Halo 4.
