In H5G I’d like to see the Shipmaster aka Rtas 'Vadum. I know his role isn’t big as the Arbiter role in the original Halo trilogy, but he’s good and a battle-hardened character. So I want him back too. What did you think, how many chance to see him in Halo 5?
It is not a good idea to include characters from other games simply because they’ve been in other games. If they are necessary for the story, fine, but a cameo for the sake of having a cameo could be very unnecessary and out-of-place.
If we are going to Sanghelios there is a possibility of seeing Half-Jaw coming back.

It’s not like he was a minor character, he’s basically the Arbiters right hand man.
Rtas 'Vadum is one of my favorite characters in the series. He’s comparable to Sergeant Johnson in the way that he is a sort of sidekick to The Arbiter, battle hardened and with an interesting origin story. He deserves a place in the series, and would make for an excellent Sangheili character if we do indeed visit Sangheilios in H5G.
The Shipmaster needs to come back. I really liked him as a character. He always stuck with the Arbiter and I actually see him as an equal to Arbiter. He did appear to be second in command of the Elites who were allied with UNSC in Halo 3. I would assume he’d have that roll again.
Yeah me too, he’s one of my favourite charater , also he had a great quotes, and yes he had a good back story.
If he does come back they need to get the original voice actor Robert Davi. I can’t imagine it being much of an issue since they managed to get Keith David (thank you for that one 343) to come back as Arby but still.
I just hope we don’t get repeat performances of Miranda Keyes and the Prophet of Truth…though Miranda Keyes’ Halo 3 actress was significantly better.
I liked better the Truth voice in H2, but I’ve no problem with the other. And of course that the Shipmaster must get the original voice.

I was deeply dissatisfied when Michael Wincott didn’t reprise his role as the Prophet of Truth.

Same, though I can’t blame Terrance Stamp for it. His performance worked well enough, it’s just a shame it sounded as if Truth had been strangled prior to the game actually releasing…that or he smoked a lot.
But from what I’ve read it wasn’t because they didn’t get MW back, he just didn’t want to apparently.
