Last night in a 3v3 my team and I were battling 30mins straight in middle pushing the enemy back to their base only to be pushed back ourselves it was epic, forges grizzlies/ wolverines, condors for me, locusts and scarabs for teammate 1( atriox) teammate 2(cutter) air units, other team Shipmaster scarabs, locusts and hunters, other two enemies(UNSC) all antivehicle and some air. The deciding factor was shipmasters amazing tactical gateway, he sent scarabs frontline and hunters/locusts to destroy our bases. It was a dead stalemate until about 45mins when they started using their brains, we couldn’t of been more flawless with our leader powers but that base disruption set us back to much and we ended up losing. Shipmaster is a great leader and I just wanted to give props to the design artist! He is a very viable leader. Displacement could use a CD increase and resource increase but other then that he’s good.
Agree. He can be tough to play as in 1v1 or early game because he doesn’t have great offensive powers.
I think the displacement CD is short, but it works. It doesn’t exactly hurt units. But, yeah, when a team has more than 1 shipmaster, games can last forever.
Also his spirit support power is pretty great.
Glad to see my boy is getting recognition. Pair him with an offensive and boom.
Can’t tell you how many times teleport, displacement and his 3rd level glassing beam has saved me. I usually go locust so my opposition will usually go cyclops/hornets if unsc or hunters/banshees if banished and the glassing beam melts all those, and the stragglers don’t stand a chance against my army. Teleport and displace both are excellent for base harass and even for defense, can’t go wrong with a shipmaster on the team if he’s experienced.
