Shipmaster is a problem.

The Shipmaster is currently extremely overpowered. Because the locusts are anti-building and can be teleported across the map, destroy the base almost instantly assuming it is a UNSC base and can’t have shield, and then they can be teleported back. Here are reasonable alternatives:
1.) The cooldown should be SIGNIFICANTLY increased.
2.) Teleporting via leader power should take half of the health/shields down like in Blitz.
3.) There should only be on teleport ability, rather than two.
4.) Locusts are just to effective at killing home bases, perhaps they should have to remain stationary when shooting to prevent a hit and run base killing god unit.

I actually kinda like this idea, except instead of health I would say halve the damage. Health doesn’t regenerate.

Just use a leader power on them. That’s what everyone does to me…

Making Marauders and Warthogs better at dealing with them would help alleviate a lot of the pain of Locusts. Displacement could also do with a radius reduction.

i only see 3 to 4 ship master in the top 100
its how you use him that can make him good just like any other leader

i honestly do not understand why everyone is so hurt over the Shipmaster. he has already been nerfed, as well as locust getting a nerf.

  1. i agree, that if anything is done, a cool down increase should be applied. BUT THATS ABOUT IT
  2. seriously? lololo you want units to receive damage when a leader power is used? OK, so every time a leader power is used, every unit loses health. even if that is applied, they will just stop using teleport and walk up to your base and destroy it. stop thinking of ways that will break a leader and start thinking of ways that will enhance the game play.
  3. there is only one teleport ability. the others that i am assuming you are referring to is the extraction, which lets be honest, only brings the units to their home base. and if it is not placed correctly only brings back a handful of units. so its not THAT OP. the other, which is literally the last leader power that can be purchased is a point to point, the enemy can go through that portal as well. and if you are complaining about that THAT late in the game, then you have other things to worry about than just a point to point jump.
  4. locust’s received a nerf. what more do you want from them? just build counter units. if you refuse to do so, then you deserve the loss.

Are you just trolling or just so bad at counting?

He is just like Anders in Halo Wars. You can play him and just be a badass or just think you’re good and con not play with him. He is awesome

leAve shipmaster alone plz. He’s quit fine, people used to call him -Yoink- master for months when the game first came out and said he was garbage the worst banished leader and possibly worst leader in general. So far he’s been nerfed twice anymore more nerds will ruin him. He actually is in a good stop right now.This is coming from a Ship master main BTW I’ve stuck with him through thick and thin although lately I’ve been really liking Colony.
