am I the only one wondering about the weight of the ship “The Heart of Midlothian” (Destroyer).
Waypoints states following:
> Approximately 485 meters from stem to stern and weighing in at 7,900 metric tons, the Midlothian hefted a pair of magnetic accelerator cannons, a Shiva-class nuclear payload, and an Archer missile firing array. It was, without a doubt, a ship to be reckoned with.
LOL! What a joke is this?
I mean 2 MACs, MAC amo (600 tons per slug), Shivas, Missles, … titanium armor.
Additionally I compared it to ships today.
> 7900 TON CHEMICAL CARGO SHIP
> Introduction: Dead weight 7900 ton, total length 115.23 m, molded breadth 18.60 m, depth molded 10.80 m, airspeed 13.00 section.
This is a cargo ship weigthing 7900 tons at 120 m and it’s empty.
So, not transporting any of the stuff and armor our little 500 m -Yoink- mentioned above does.
I advise immediate correction.
