Gameplay is amazing, a freaking masterpiece, some weapons may be OP but eh, my only problem is how quickly you die. For advanced super-soldiers, your shields are really crappy. I mean, isn’t the armor the Spartan IV’s wear like the GEN 2 MJONLIER armor? So why is that the GEN 1 has better shields? I think the reason why for this the second shield bar, it monitors how much left you have till you die, but when reach and halo 1 did that we seemed to die quicker because of the limited health units. Please make kill-times longer 343 or remove that second shield bar or just increase the main shield’s strength. This game is the best Halo ever, but for fast-paced gameplay like this higher-shields are needed because of how often fight other players. Thanks for taking the time for reading this post, you guys at 343i are really doing great work!
At least the shield regeneration is really quick to compensate, but I will say some weapons shred shields way too quickly and I feel like perfect time to kills in this game are much lower, but there is less aim assist, but at the same time the DMR and BR have insane RoF’s and no spread. It all needs tweaking along with the range of automatics.

True, a lot of weapons take your shields down un-godly quick, but i think higher shields are needed.
You should never depend on your shields though. It may help keep you alive but do not become too dependent on it.

Thanks for the advice, but i don’t depend my shields ALL the time, i depend on cover and good teammates, if both fail, i need good shields

I think it may be an effect of the weapons but I think they are fine. IMO, YMMV.

You realize that health is in every Halo game, right? And that the “second shield bar” in Halo5 is just a representation of your health? There’s absolutely no reason for it to be invisible like it was in Halo2, 3, and 4, as all that does is keep useful info from you.
it seems like you no longer need to go for the head shot when you drop their shields, like next time you drop a players shields shoot at their chest or something, you down then just as fast as you would with the head shot, i’m not liking that if this is the case.
With new mobility options, increasing shield health would make for some very frustrating engagements and abnormally long kill times. As it’s tuned currently, there is room for a single evasion maneuver and potential pursuit, which I think feels right given the speed of the game.
I also think that the Spartan IV’s feel a tad bit squishy. Lore wise they are no Spartan II’s but still, they die way to quickly.

would that not eliminate the fast-paced gameplay? BR is still 4 shot as always, to make it any more is just silly.
