I get the idea behind not allowing your shields to refill while sprinting, but I always seem to sprint a half second too early, and now I have to wait another 3 seconds for my shields to refill. I think it should pause the timer while you sprint, then restart it from where it left off maybe a half second after ending your sprint. What do you guys think about the sprint/shield timer?
Try not sprinting for a second and reload. Thats why I do. I’m used to not sprinting anyway.
Oh, I loath this. Shields are what makes Halo so unique.

I love it. If you wanna run away you can do it without shields. Only thing that could be better is your shields dropping while sprinting whenever you sprint until your shields are gone. Then sprint is done and you are shield less.
I’m not talking about while running away from a fight. I’m talking about in general. Say, after you get a kill and your shields are down, you want to go help out your buddies. You are walking towards them, then you go to sprint just a half a second before they were going to refill. Now you have to wait all over again. I really think it should just pause the timer, not restart it.
