I remember this idea I had from before Reach launched, shield color. It’s fairly self-explanatory, the ability to change the color of your energy shield. Spartans have had yellow shields. Elites have had blue, why not mix it up. Just a little something different.
Forerunners should have blue, most definitely.
I’m assuming that Bungie’s decision regarding colour was informed by such things as projectile colour (most plasma is green) and map environments (either industrial grey, or natural greens and browns). No doubt yellow was the colour that least conflicted with these elements.

Well, if what we’ve seen in Concept art is to be judged, a lot of Forerunner environments are in the works, so that means silver. Honestly, this is just for MM, shouldn’t be clearer.

I don’t think it’s a bad idea by any means and I’d love to see it in Halo 4; I was just attempting to muse over the possible reasons why the shields were yellow in the first place. It would need to be tested, though, to ensure that no one colour had an advantage over any other.

I think if you make the colors bright enough and show a satisfying shield pop, there won’t be an issue.
YES, I have been wanting this for a long time it would be soo cool and you could reinact Star Wars (sorry i saw episode 1 today)

There was a thread on this awhile back. It included a video of someone who modded Halo: CE to show the example. I can’t find the thread for some reason though, but it looked really awesome.
I definitely like this idea.
i dont see a point to it, since you only see shields for brief seconds at a time.
I would rather see it change to the same color as your visor.
