shield color the same as your primary color

I saw this video not to long ago and thought it would be a great thing to have in halo 4.

Basicly the title says it all in every halo game our shields for when we get shot have always been the same color yellow or orange mabey. But wouldnt it be great to have diffrent color sets for your armor?

For example if i made my spartans primary color red then when I get shot in game my shields glow red instead of yellow. Same for team games red teams shields glow red blue teams glow blue.

I for one think this would be a great idea for future Halo games to come it doesnt do anything to gameplay and to me little things like this is what makes some games great.

That would be a neat little feature to have in future Halo games, I will admit. In plus, it’s not like it’d be the toughest thing to do either!

No thanks. I’d rather not have people glowing bright pink and purple when I’m shooting them.

I would rather have a set shield color across the board to be yet another equalizer. Don’t get me wrong I am all for Aesthetic customization but it would create it’s own set of in game issues.

Black would be a problem though, what if you were in a cave and you see a black armoured Spartan you crack his shields but you don’t know it because the flare was black, this might make the rely more on instinct.

Just don’t want it to bright and colorful, plus somehow…it reminds me of power rangers…jus saying…

Simple fix: Black, Grey, and White armor colors all have white shield flashes.

So should multi-ethnic squads of color coordinated heroes fighting space monsters with their super-awesome power suits. If you have an issue with power rangers you have certainly come to the wrong franchise.

I don’t like this idea because it makes no sense. The over shield should be the colour the technology behind it is making it, the spartans armour paint has nothing to do with it.

And you don’t think they wouldn’t be able to customize the shield color?

Maybe in the future the paint is the technology behind the over shields???

yes! i like it! but if chief has spartan 2 armour make it old school , in multiplayer depends on spartan model. or you can customize it!
