Anyone else hoping that the Sharquoi appear in Halo 5? I’ve always wanted to see them in the universe but we’ve never seen them outside of Conversations from the Universe, even then they were only mentioned, and yes, they are canon to the Halo universe. From what I hear, they are native to Sangheilios so I think it’s be awesome for Elites to ride them into battle or something XD

I don’t see why they wouldn’t appear someday. As long as Conversations from the Universe remains canon, the Sharquoi name remains canon. With the introduction of the Covenant fringe, then I would say the Sharquoi could appear in the future.
I hope they go with something a bit different than the picture, or at least vaguely inspired by it. I feel like halo has enough big bullet spunge enemies (covenant has hunters and brutes already, and then there’s prometheans). Though some other savage killing machine beast could be pretty cool.

Even so, they had to have come from somewhere
I honestly believe 343i might have created The Covenant Fringe with the Sharquoi in mind. Of course, it’s a great excuse to bring in other species as well but it’s a perfect entrance for the Sharquoi.
Could happen, if it does that would be pretty cool. how would it fight though? would it be tanky like the hunters? that could work if its used for a boss fight or something but might be too samey for repeat encounters. Any suggestions?

They are, in the most basic description, giant Hunters with no fuel rod cannons. It would be interesting to see how they fight
