Share Your Sensitivity!

Think your sensitivity/acceleration setup is perfect? Share away. I’m currently having difficulties finding my own.

Whatever the default is…it’s what I use.

I find that I’m at my best when playing on 8 Horizontal and 1.5 Vertical with 4 Acceleration and no dead zones. Also adjust your dead zones just in case of slow turn and drift. Inner for drift, outer for slow turn

Low vertical, slightly higher horizontal.
High acceleration, no dead zone.

I’ll post numbers when I can see them

Here’s my setup:

Horizontal Sensitivity: 10
Vertical Sensitivity: 10
Look Acceleration: 5
Inner and Outer Dead Zone: 0%

I play with the highest possible settings (which can be very hard to handle). It allows me to not worry about first-shot accuracy, and compensates for slower reactions thanks to the fast movement.

I can wreak havoc during Infection, but I’m no slouch as a sniper.

Yea default is good enough

Horizontal: 3
Vertical: 2
Acceleration: 1
Deadzones: 0% (I think)

Probably lowers my reaction time, but it gives me a steadier shot, which is pretty useful.

Horizontal - 1.5
Vertical - 1.5
Acceleration - 1
Dead Zones - 0%

my is all default and 4 for sensitivity

I was using 2 Hor, 3 Vert, 4 Acc, 0 Dead Zones for quite a while, but my aim felt too jerky, especially across map. Recently went to 2 Hor, 4 Vert, 2 Acc, 2% Inner / 0 Outer. So far it feels smoother with less Acc and 2% inner, but I was also able to make some shots on guys above and below me noticeably quicker with the higher Vert setting.

I’ve seen some very good players use some very strange settings so I’m not sure how much difference it makes once you get used to the setup. Aim seems to be an issue with this particular Halo. For me, I’m just not very skilled, but most top level players continue to complain about the aim mechanics being jiggy or hit and miss, if you get my drift

7 sensitivity. 3 look acceleration.

5 horizontal and 2.5 vertical
2 acceleration
0% deadzones
And Helljumper button layout
It works well for me, but certainly I’m not a pro player

Depends on what I’m playing.

In Warzone I play:
1.5 horizontal
1.5 vertical
2 acceleration
6% inner deadzone
0% outer deadzone

In Arena I play:
2.5 horizontal
1.5 vertical
1 acceleration
0% inner and outer deadzones.

And in Infection I play:
4 horizontal
3 vertical
5 acceleration
0% inner and outer deadzones.

Sens: 5
Accel: 4
Dead zone: default
I keep my dead zone high I guess because my right stick turns slowly when I turn left and the dead zone change fixes that
I also play on recon button layout c:

I remember my sensitivity was on 7, or 8.
Don’t know about the other things.

Personally, I’m very sensitive to daddy/daughter stuff and seeing grown men cry.

OH, controller sensitivity. 4 sensitivity and 2 acceleration. Haven’t messed with the horizontal/vertical. Set dead zones to 3% or something like that.

I change mine a few times a day just based on how heavy my reticule is and how the servers are.

I jump around between 3-5 sens and 3-5 accel, no deadzones (usually) but if the reticule is especially heavy I’ve noticed the deadzones can relieve the feeling slightly.

Aiming in this game is -Yoinked!- honestly lol I’m not sure if its a mechanic from bandaiding ADS onto the engine, dedicated servers or the 60 frames being tied to mechanics but it can feel really really bad some games, and then others feel like any other fps.

Look sensitivity=5. Look acceleration=4

I always have everything on 5. I used to play on 3 back in Halo 3, (pun not intended) but the more I played the more I wanted to accelerate my gameplay responses.

5 sens, 2 accel.
