Will drop this here in case it’s useful to anyone.
Try taking a screenshot via Kinect voice commands by saying “Xbox , take a screenshot”. Alternatively, you can double tap your controller’s Xbox button and then press Y to take a screenshot.
Any Halo 5 screenshots and clips that you take with this methods will be automatically uploaded to your Halo Waypoint Filebrowser. Currently, there is no in-game filebrowser available.
