That last shot was coming from somebody, I knew it.It was inevitable. 
Anyway, I really like ‘Bleak November’ as well. It’s what November normally looks like around me… if snow hasn’t already bolted us in.
And I’m back to screenshot-ing again! Autumn, huh? Well, I’m thinking the turning leaves, oranges and yellows and browns… but where on a map is that? As I scrolled through the mpas, I guess you could say I was at Fall’t for autumn-looking ones!
In the end, I came across Solace’s Red Base waterfall area to be of use. You can tell I’m a tad rusty here… as rusty as the leaves, that is!
Ocracle of Light
Doesn’t really fit the theme of the challenge, but I like how the pose came out. Looks as if he’s holding the light in a way… or trying to read that secret message written in lemon juice that he put on his hand.
Oh, and then there’s Torchlit.
Follage
Creeping Through the Follage
Two very similar shots. I wanted to capture something where my Spartan going through the leaves, on a hnut or something. The idea just seemed cool to me. The results however… meh…
Boo.
I laugh at this shot. I like how the Spartan is cut off at both ends of the branch, and appears to be looking through the split at his target. Or Yayap, who is playing hide-and-seek with him.
On Watch
Uhhh… well, my Spartan is in the shot. Yeah. With leaves. Reloading. Yeh. Whoop.
Hex
Going back through these shots, I realized that the leaves didn’t look as autumn-ish as I hoped they’d be. So I decided to force them to be orange.
(This shot is a tad bright, so a warning to your eyeballs. It’s not super bright, but… yeah…)
After firing off picture after picture, my Spartan got tired of being used as a model, had bloodlust to go play Heavies, and he let me know how he felt.

Sorry for my abscence as of late, alot has been going on as of late for me, from working on Maps and Gametypes for a Future Halo 4 Playdate to Hands-On Art Projects, and personal matters, I haven’t had much time for Digital photography, but that as changed for a bit as I have a bit of free time now.
I have seen a lot of the posted screenshots that have been posted in my abscence while working on maps through recommendations and I am impressed with everybody’s screenshots. There has been quite a variety going on between the Weekly Themes and personal interests. Just so much to compliment, so I will have to say in shortened terms keep up the great work on your screenshots everybody 
.
I have been taking screenshots on and off between testing sessions on my maps as well as from a couple of game nights I have been in, which I would like to share. So to say, Flood has produced some interesting results from glitches to jokes.

The last photo I want to share is from the game where Cizlin, S452 and I glitched forge. This last photo was an accident, but a good one nevertheless. My Forge monitor looks like he is using a camera, so as a tip of the hat to all the digital photographers in this thread (As well as a pun to Comicbeast1212’s photo ), I present to you:
That is all I have to share for now, I know near the end of the month, I will have quite the handful of photos from a future community event yet to be announced, but I dunno between that time if I will have time to create more screenshots, so enjoy the new photos.

So, moving on, we’re abandoning the autumn theme for, well… Abandon. Everybody’s favorite random facility out in the midst of a desolate creepy jungle! Let’s see what we can cook up…

A shot that I really, reeeeally liked the pose in. Looks like he’s all defiant and menacing looking… but up for you to decide. As far as the theme goes, I got one of the weird trees behind him. Yay me.

Welcome to the Jungle
… we’ve got fun and War Games!
A shot that captures the backdrop of Abandon’s distant jungle… and random pterodactyl-looking bird thing. I consider the Scattershot the map’s signature weapon in a way, so that’s the small symbolism there.
Now for the fun part. Even though I’ve been in this ‘screenshot industry’, if you would, since April-ish, I’m still learning the ropes. A lot. Today, during my filming session, I discovered a wondrous mechanic!
While you have the clip paused, if you just faintly hold down the ‘RT’ button (on default control settings), the clip goes in slow-motion. Brilliant for screenshots! (Though most of you guys may have known this. It was exciting to stumble upon.)
I guess you could say I made a
Breakthrough
Now for a little sidetrack off into the world of experimenting with game mechanics, grav lifts, and explosives.
The experiment!:
I shot a sticky det grenade down the central grav lift on Abandon. It was lifted back up, but for the longest time, I had no idea where it planted itself to rest. The gun gave me the ability to detonate, so it had to have landed somewhere…
The outcome!
After three or four more tests, I found the final resting place of my sticky explosive:

Completely pointless. I don’t care. I’ll find some way to make this work in matchmaking…
And lastly, another shot I got using my new found power:
Supernova Sentry
Actual shot isn’t as cool as the title, I know. Used by sticking a plasma nade to my autosetry and capturing the last second of the blast. Wish I could’ve gotten closer for a more centered shot, but if zoomed in anymore the cool electricity that made the shot worthwhile just blended into pure white. Oh well.

Abandon? I may have to sit this one out (in fact, I may just “retire” until the MCC releases to see what they’re going to be doing screenshot wise) because I have utterly abused this beautiful map.
Also, I don’t think they choose older shots, because I really don’t want to remake THIS, THIS, THIS, THIS, THIS … there’re several more, like I said, I tapped this map dry.
Anyway, I went ahead and tagged them all, but they’re not going to show up in the “Last Week” criteria in the public fileshare, but I really feel like if I were to make a new one for the sake of this theme it would just be a weak imitation.

It didn’t save the film with you shooting me with the cricket gun, so this is from the 2nd short game before we bailed on those dudes.

Well, for starters, with the new update, they transfered the file browser to your Halo 4 stats for those you didn’t know. Unfortunetly, you can’t view ‘recent screenshots’.
A congradulatious to Mr. Martini for getting his shot selected as one of the new avatars! I see quite a few other shots in there as well that were taken by the people here as well!
As for the Recon challenge (I don’t know if it’s still on with the new update or not), when I could view it on the old Waypoint, Lizking and Receptor were absoluely dominating it. Great shot after great shot.
So, mine aren’t exactly anything to gawk about. Using the colorblind filter on Abandon, I decked my Spartan out in the required armor set and went to work. Here are my select results.
Shard
Struck me as really cool. I like the way that the shard takes up part of the shot, and the how the Spartan really isn’t the focus of it. I like the effect I got from it, and think it looks really cool in black and white.
And for my Next Trick…
Solely for the purpose of humor. I’m making fun of weird animations again. 
Data Dump
I’m certain this tactic has been used many times before; I’ve seen it. Hardlight shields can be pretty cool in shots if used correctly. So here’s my crack at it. Didn’t really get the vibe I wanted, but hey, look at me. If I call it a screenshot, it’s a screenshot, dang it!

We’re still here, just a little lost in the new white shineyfulness of Waypoint reborn. I will admit it is very strange having me now feature in my avatar now (and being in another profile pic featuring Prefect armour and the Oddball). Apparently there are even more profile pics the higher in rank you go…I wonder if any of mine are in those hidden piccies currently above my rank…
Bring It On is definitely the best of the bunch from your stuff this time Comicbeast! The posing and shading’s brilliant, which I think is a little lost on the others as they seem just a little overbright in my eyes.
The lack of Recent Screenshots is going to be very difficult over the coming future until 343 get that sorted, but until then, I’m going to resort to adding an underscore or simple space at the start of my Screenshots in Halo 4, so I can find them easily enough in the few thousand I’ve taken over my career in Halo 4(!?).
But before the update, I did make a series of Recon specials with the help of the ever pleasant and brilliant Lizking, resulting in the following:
Recon Challenge - The first pic I made and possibly the best. I simply had my Spartan pick up the Oddball, making this pose with the Olde Timey effect adding some nice depth to the white armour.
Faded Fights - I added a touch of backstory to this one, with the idea of making a nostalgic or flashback kind of piece reminiscing The Pit in times past on Halo 3.
Supporting Recon - Lizking unleashing doom with a Mounted Turret. I showed him how to get this stanced and steady pose on the ramp by having him face towards the “camera”, then turn his view by around 90 degrees and firing. The lighting’s quite nice with Olde Timey continuing to be active.
Electric Floor - A bit of hilarity on Vertigo brought about the next batch of pieces, mostly featuring Lizking in his Recon SURGE skin. Seemed appropriate to have a power surge…
Electric Field - Basically me sprinting forwards over a freshly discharged platform. Getting the lighting to be dancing where it is was difficult to get with the slow-motion effect of running the video, but in the end I got this piece.
And there we have it! Hopefully the old Screenshot links will also work soon, I’m glad I downloaded all of mine over the years to keep em safe in my own files.
