Don’t worry about it, i’m pretty sure the “sky” and space are the same area. The blue shade is just an optical illusion from the sun that is gone after, what? 8pm? space is always there, the “sky” is just some name we gave it because we couldn’t go beyond that space. So we gave the local area a name i assume. You can’t see the “sky” from space. You can only see it from the surface of the planet. It’s just space. space is everywhere. Space is an area where nothing is in it. Space between your fingers, space between us and Mars. Space. That’s why it’s called that. I’m pretty sure Anything is still achievable before 8 pm LMAO.

TL;DR: The “sky” is limitless, thus the saying. The rest of us know what you’re talking about.

Anyway, I like the picture alot, wish i was there to help you.

You also said that you could criticize his, but in reality his screenshots are far superior to your own. Your new ones are absolutely pathetic, and frankly so are you. Hey, what the nonsense is going on here? This is usually the most civil thread on this forum. Unless I’m missing some big joke.

In case I’m not: @Gothic Lucy, you don’t have to worry: only good artists get crap from others (jealousy, mostly) and have their work ridiculed. If it truly wan’t any good, they’d be ignoring it. I’m a fan, as well as my fiance; she routinely asks me if you’ve posted any new shots. She had that old one with the flower (or tree…this one) you did a while back as the wallpaper on our laptop.

Thank you topsniper707 for your criticism, it was very helpful! I am always looking for ways to better my screenshots. I wasn’t expecting a long and descriptive reply on how I can improve them, more descriptive information is always better than one simple sentence, so I would like to thank you for that as well.

With that being said I would like to share some other screenshots that captured both some cool and funny moments alike. Here are some of them:

More Info: I was getting a little bored so I just created a simple screenshot that surprisingly, took quite some time to make. Despite that, the results were more than great.

Screenshot #2 - “Evil Ruler”

More Info: Now, there are some defects that occurred when this shot was captured, but it makes it look like the “Evil Ruler” has a blue-ish light extending from his hand.

More Info: The effects in both these screenshots required a lot of patience and time. I used a couple of large base shields, which I merged together at the right postition, in order to make a rainbow-like, cyan background with a white streak extended throughout the shields. I never expected it to turn out like this, sometimes mistakes come with positive consequences.

More Info: I basically used a Machinima based gametype in order to create this. There are countless screenshots that have resized objects, but I wanted to do something a little bit different. With that being said, “TO DE RESCUE!!!”

Thanks to those who provided feedback on my screenshots, including topsniper707. As you probably already guessed, I am still and will always be willing to hear what feedback and comments that all of you may be willing to share on my screenshots. Thanks!

I love power unleashed, the colors give it passion and a nice look over all.

And Evil Ruler is gorgeous. The dominance of purple is great and well balanced, not to mention the angle is lovely, piecing it all together.

You’ve already improved a lot, hope to see more from you! :slight_smile:

My favorite was “Evil Ruler” but “Power Unleashed” wasn’t far behind. I would try to help criticize again but there honestly isn’t anything to nitpick on haha. You picked some cool effects and you made the poses work with them. Nice work. Good stuff man and thanks for sharing them here. The quality of your shots are improving rapidly. :slight_smile:

Agreed, respect and the willingness of others to help and share are what has made being a contributor to this forum such an enjoyable experience. I think it has really set this group apart from, and above, many other areas in the forum.

Thanks for the ‘like’, it helps me out a lot. While this isn’t primarily why I make screenshots, it’s always good to have a way for people to know when others enjoy their creations.

Well, it’s a shame how it really turned out later on. However, the only thing we can do is ‘flag’ or ignore “hate” or negatively argument based replies, as responding to them would further produce the problem. I thought this thread was for sharing screenshots, tips, tricks, etc. and posting feedback on other’s own work, not to argue about things. In conclusion, I agree with you all of the way.

As for your comment on my screenshot, I would like to say thank you for that as well. It’s always nice to see when someone compliments your work. It motivates me to a further extent when I create things. Once again, many thanks for your compliment!

Thanks for the positive feedback! Things like this(what others replied about as well) let me know I’m on the right track. I hope to see what you’ll come up with next as well! :slight_smile:

Overall, I am glad I was able to collect feedback from most of you so far. I wasn’t actually expecting these reactions either, which turned out to be a very good thing. Sometime around(which may be soon) I’ll try and provide feedback on other’s screenshots as well. Once again, thank you all very much!

Anyway, nice shots to everybody. We get an extra week, so I’ll probably churn up some more.THIS is the only decent thing I could come up with. I shared it above, but I’m trying to steer this back to picture sharing and I don’t have anything else (been playing too much Destiny).
