Thanks a ton. Getting the shots isn’t really the catch with this approach. Adding a coherent plot to explain the frame is going to be real tough with only ~140 spaces each, as well as being careful enough not to leave unnecessary scenery in the frame. I’ll most likely have to get four-five shots of one character/map to add enough back story. Only having a single controller also means I only get one character on screen, so the shots will usually be close ups. Like my intro said, if anyone wants to throw in help is always appreciated.
I realized The shots I included were tied together by plot elements, but I neglected to introduce Madalaine-005. This is the first shot of her, doing terrain assessment on a sabotage target for another squad.
That SPARTAN looks just a bit too green, and there’s a good amount of contrast between the natural background and the SPARTAN due to the different image textures. The background and (photoshop?) touches make for an interesting piece overall.

Which do you find the easiest to capture?
Which do you find the hardest?
Default over skinned?
Working with many helmets over the past few months, I personally have come to this conclusion.
All of the preorder helmets, Deadeye, Locus, Fotus and Venator are relatively easy to get great shots with.
Did you know if you get the lighting just right, the Deadeye will resemble the Didacts helmet?
I have found that Scanner, Cio, Gungnir, and a few stock helmets are on the tougher side to get great shots, not impossible, just a bit harder. The Gungnir on Reach was a cool looking helmet to capture once you had the last attachment hooked up. The lunchboxes square lines led it right into the armor. The Halo 4 Gung has those rounded edges, for me, making it less photographic.
Anyway, thoughts?
Scanner I’d say is the hardest to capture, just look at it. Venator I just don’t like at all, no idea why it has those ugly white lines in place of a visor. Skins only make a difference when they are noticeable, like FOREST over default HAZOP. Locus just looks good all over, and it’s tough to get a bad shot with it.
Since we’re going specifically to helmets, Cole-012 doesn’t like people questioning his accuracy.

Hey, Deluca. I want to tell you i’ve got 7 screenshots, but i’m having a problem with my file share. I don’t think it likes me, lol.
I can’t hit the 4 file share, but you have a TON of good shots on the Reach recents page. The one with you and Rojas stands out. WHAT ARE YOU STARING AT also has a really nice pose angle. SWORDSWOMAN has a better pose, but less background and more centering on the character would have made it your best shot. Keep it up Revy!
Good evening everybody. I happen to have a couple more photos I took from Photo Ops I created on Custom Halo 4 games. If you have ever wondered what a Spartan IV with a Frost Visor, all Hazop FRST Armor, an Assault Rifle PRD, and a Battle Rifle ACT looked like, then you are in for a treat, as you might like the Longbow themed pics with this Spartan.

Fox 1 is the better of the two. I suggest, if you didn’t, using the zoom to enhance focus on the SPARTAN so there isn’t a ton of background taking up the picture space.

I always appreciate constructive criticism when it comes to anything artistic, and I value your input. Even though I was trying to do one zoomed photo and one away photo, I will keep that in mind for future photos, thank you.

No problem. Taking a second look at Fox 1, I actually think it stands better as it is, lol.

how is everyone’s blue screen shots coming along? I put a few in the ol’ fileshare. A byproduct of this session was “hell spawn” let me know whatcha think.
