Weirdest glitch you guys …
I was playing some BTB when the game lagged out for a second (black screen) and when it restarted, one of my teammates spawned beside me, but just … exploded into about a dozen different spartans in various armors.
So I took some pictures (got the clip too, but no room in my file share)

My favorite of your Settler shots is “Disaster Strikes”. It does look like your Spartan is sprinting away from an imminent eruption.
@MrMartini - Of your shots my favorite is “Landscape - Nature1” I like the idea of looking down on the area from a banshee.

For this weeks spotlight “Landscape” I tagged 4 older shots, although it appears (at least to me) that the last several bulletins included only more resent shots….

I just put up 2 more. It’s using the background on Impact. That counts as landscape, right? Haha.
Well, as long as it shows a decent part if the maps features or backgrounds that iconize them, then yes.

Ok so I feel like this landscape theme is fairly vague… I can’t really say that Shatter is actually my favorite multiplayer map, but I think that the volcano and those green crystals make for one of the most unique Halo landscapes ever, so I went with it. I don’t have any new shots yet (although I might soon), but here are some oldies.

| PHOSPHENE WALTZ
Kind of a spur of the moment thing, but when I took it I felt like it warranted some sort of description to give it more depth. So… I had consulted dictionary.com a few days before taking the shot (because the dictionary is my best friend), and found this word. Actually I’m pretty sure it was the word of the day, so that’s kind of cheap. But still! Phosphenes- the light that you see flashing when you close your eyes. I felt like it fit pretty well.
| ASCENSION
So… Back to that “Rainbow Infinity-Esque” effect… I did it with a monitor and this happened. There were several instances where I was so close to getting an even better shot, but couldn’t land on the exact frame. Oh well. Guess I’ll just have to revisit the effect again. But basically it does this just with more defined colors. The monitor is darker purple and teal and the eye was a darker orange. Hopefully I can replicate and actually make it work this time.

Evening all! With this Landscape theme now out, I thought I’d break out some old faves of mine on that theme from before to be given new life.
This time I present to you three of my best:
Cryosphere - Taken on Longbow with My standard Juicy and CB setup, this was taken behind Red team’s spawn where that massive lake is. You don’t often look at it mid game, so it deserved some love I thought.
Supercell - One of my all time faves for scenery, trying to capture the right time with the lightning was a challenge, but the final result is one I love.
Caledonian Range - This time I went as high as possible on Daybreak to get a clean pic of the mountain range beyond the map’s playable area. Interestingly, the region does look appropriately Caledonian, also known as Scotland with the darker green and grey landscape.
And that’s it for me! Hopefully BRAVO also looks through some older Screenies for this week’s theme.

I like those, you captured some of the very pleasing pieces of those maps that people rarely look at and appreciate… New things, and I respect that, not going to the popular/easy maps and making great results is something that I look for in a decent screenshotter. Good job.
And I see you and I had a similar thought for Vertigo… I took a similar shot of it long ago when I first got the map, minus FX, of course… Yours looks tons better though.
I’m really embarrassed… I totally think I messed up on understanding the theme. I thought it meant for us to submit pictures just from a single map, and have those pictures have identifiable landscapes so that you could easily tell which map it was. From the looks of what everybody else is whipping up, though, (which are beautiful shots I must say), I think I had it way wrong.
I guess it’s just another “scenery” theme, huh?
I wish I could untag some of the ones I tagged! Now everybody can see my blunder.

Dude. This one does deserve some love- lots of it. It’s very serene. Yeah it’s definitely unique when compared to other shots on Longbow. I can’t say I’ve ever seen a screenshot in that area before, let alone even looked at it myself in-game. It’s truly beautiful.

I have seen that glitch on two occasions. The first was on Exile, where we came out of black screen and a bunch of bodies suddenly spawned in on a rock near the center.
The second was much better (I wish I’d had a hard drive when I played that…). It occurred on Solace, once again in the center. The dead center, to be precise. I spawned facing the gravity lift after a black screen. I am so glad that I was facing that direction, because every player’s body (including my own) got ejected from the lift in every direction at the same time. Gosh, that was friggin’ hilarious!

So this week I took out a map Lizking so graciously provided me with a couple of weeks ago.
Underwater Canvas by Oakley HiDef.
The scenery I added is similar to Lizking’s Mantis shot “Found You”, (great shot by the way), not sure if it was subliminal or if the lighting and “fog” seemed to fit the ambiance of the scene I was looking for….
What is different is I added door shields, which I think added a nice effect on the tree branches.
“Viridescence” apparently I like this pose.
“CLICK”
“Iridescent and Doom” the Spartan is not as clear as I would have liked, but I liked the amount of fog for the setting
“Enhanced Awareness” with Tico_Dem0n
I also took a shot earlier this week “RPT Spelunker” on Erosion (Ascent). I keep coming back to this area in hopes of getting the clean shot I have in my head, (work still in progress)

“Race” might be a bit tough since it’s not really in an environment that can be controlled. Well, I suppose a Mongoose is really all you need isn’t it? Doesn’t necessarily have to be in a race … or does it?

Ooooooo… all very nice shots! I really love all of them, but especially ‘Viridescence’. I really like the foggy setting you used in those screenshots. ‘Spelunker’ is a top pick of mine as well. Keep them comin’!

Playlist isn’t up yet, but took a couple of “Race” themed shots. Very similar, these; not sure which works best since they’re both trying to achieve the same thing.

Since I have been posting screenshots, we seem to cycle through juvenile taggers. I am not aware of anything we can individually do to remove tags. I do not remember if anything was done the last round by management.
Options would be to twitter Bravo and / or message the forum moderators (maybe Cizlin?) and ask if there is something they could do.
Other than that, I am not sure.
For me, I TRY to remember that the opinion of anyone abuseing the tag function isn’t credible.
