> The map Lab Breakout is a truly dark and scary map where the infected aren’t the only things trying to kill you. The map focuses on visual, sound, and feel to give the greatest sense of being there yourself.
I have restored this map to its former glory, I was even able to improve it. Now there is the caged monster (you all saw it) that will attack you if too close, two appearing and disappearing eyes of monsters that will kill you when approached, and the last one will simply eat you. Through all that, you have to worry about the other monsters running around (players) that are just as hard to find, but beware of the Alpha, it’s more deadly than the others (you’ll know it’s him when you see it)
I also placed more sound sources to give life to the installation, and replaced parts of the ceiling to bring in more light (It’s funny how the light actually makes the map darker, so avoid it if you can)
The barren rooms are now filled with equipment you would expect in a research facility and the maintenance shaft is easier to spot in the dark from the red light. The previously empty halls are now filled with rubble, showing the state of the decaying building
There are more menacing messages on the walls and floor, one of which will change through the course of the match. Of course I would make all of the doors destroyable so that the player can have more inter action with the map.
The only reason the map isn’t up yet is because I’m currently experimenting with the traveling light to see if I can get any of the infected to light up as it passes them in the hall. If it does work then the map will be that much scarier. The idea is that one second it’s a dark empty hall and the next there’s a handful of infected lunging at you.
To survive you need to work together as either Guard, Scout, Shield, or Vision.
Guard -
Equipped with a Magnum and a Shotgun with no special attributes.
[Best at taking down the escaped experiments, easier to be killed]
Scout -
Equipped with an Assault Rifle and a Magnum, carries a Regeneration Field, has better Mobility, and extra ammo.
[Can stand their own for a set time until back up arrives, Medic]
Shield -
Equipped with an Assault Rifle and a Magnum, carries a Hardlight Shield with AA efficiency and extra ammo.
[Can prevent the team from being over run by creating a barrier, vulnerable to attack when shielding]
Vision -
Equipped with an Assault Rifle and a Plasma Pistol, uses Promethean Vision.
[Can see anything that moves in the dark, easy to be killed]
> I have to say, I like Lab Breakout. It is a very nifty, I have to say, and the figure you made from weapons, I have to say that it is quite creative, a step up from basic cone men.
The cone men were too primitive and I figured that using weapons would give me what I want. If I used the Trait Zones around the figure then I would be able to restrict players from picking up weapons, meaning I can have this thing out in the open and no one can take it apart.
I’ll be uploading images of it without the SFX and the rooms so that light can get to it. There will be images from different angles since your able to walk all around it and it would still look natural.

The Map Advertisements is me running around so that I can have natural looking screenshots to put up. Some of the images do not show certain parts of the map like Downtown Gorifeda where if you looked at the screenshot Real City(original name) you’ll see the part of the map the first image doesn’t show.
