Got some wraith themed screenshots I wanna show off but first I want to thank Lizking10152011 for giving some help in getting some cool effects!

Normally I don’t take Screenshots, mainly because I’m trying to master commendations and such and rarely have time to spare. However, I feel that these few screenshots were totally worth it.

Speaking of the Wraith theme, I took my first submission. I doubt it’ll work, and I have a lot to learn, but, hey, it’s pretty cool anyway. Looks like it has bunny ears.
Good evening everybody. There has been quite a bit of activity since I have last posted, and even new photographers . I really like what I am seeing here. So the ‘melee’ theme is over (I’m late again, lol) and the new theme is ‘wraith’. Congratulations to everybody who had their ‘Melee’ themed photo posted and good luck with this week’s theme.
Cizlin, so glad you are joining the screenshot community. It’s really fun to take screenshots, and I am amused at the photos you have taken, as they have fun factor to them and do give people a bit of a chuckle. Great job on your initial set of photos and keep up the great work. I can;t wait to see what funny yet awesome photos you will create next.
Mecha Sh0ckwave, you had some rather vibrant ‘melee’ themed screenshots. I like what you have done with the utilization of FX lights as well as different gadget FXs in each photo. Each photo is unique and I have to say I really like them all. As for helping you out with FX with your ‘Wraith’ themed photos, not a problem at all. I am happy the way your ‘wraith’ themed screenshots managed to come out. Well done on your recent photos.
topsniper707, I see your two new ‘wraith’ themed screenshots Desert Campaign and Battle Hardened and I like the barren desert feel to both photos and you managed to capture great lighting in both photos. Well done with your recent screenshots.
S452, another amazing forge art creation. You’re getting better with these creations and I hope that you’re next creation, the Winged Muto is another masterpiece, just as your eight-legged muto and other Godzilla forge art has been. Glad to see you having fun with forge art and keep up the good work.
I happen to have some new screenshots to share with everybody once again. For the ‘wraith’ themed photo, I wanted to help somebody else with their photos, and I was able to help Mecha Sh0ckwave with his photos. I honestly didn’t think I would have an idea for myself, but one did come to mind.
‘Frogger’ was created on Ravine with some Green Gadget Lights as well as the Juicy and Nova FX. So, wraiths can come in colors other than the default Covenant Royal Purple . Also from a session with Mecha Sh0ckwave, I do happen to have a couple of photos, mostly from Big Team Battle gameplay as well as a custom games Skyline photo.

Also, from some more fun games of Flood with Cizlin, I managed to get a nice photo op as well as my first matchmaking Killionaire in Halo 4.

Also, from having fun on another session of Kicking Mantis, I did manage to capture an interesting photo that looks like a Banshee trying to avoid debris.
Compliment of an odd glitch Cizlin found with sniper rifle weaponry as well as phased gravity hammers, I managed to create some unique FX. So, thank you Cizlin for sharing the awesome glitch with me, otherwise the following photos would not have been possible.

I played around for a couple of shots on Longbow - Juicy and Colorblind

And one on Shatter using the FX lighting Lizking setup and shared in the forum “Test FX 5”. I placed all 4 Blue lights in one of the tunnels. When I had tried the map before, I could not get an amor color that wanted to cooperate. This time I used the Ninja Assassin game type for the Black armor.

Good afternoon everybody.
Before I comment on anybody’s pictures, I have two matters to get out of the way.
The first one is Congratulations to everybody who had their ‘Wraith’ themed screenshots featured. There were a lot of interesting photos I must say. The new theme is ‘multi-team’, which can allow for a wide variety of screenshots. I will be taking a break from screenshots this week as I need to catch up on my hands-on art projects.
The second matter is for this month, I have two monthly themes I will be putting out there to all fellow screenshot photographers and yes there will be DLC codes for both the game and your avatar as prizes .
The first theme is ‘Thank You to bs angel: Spartan 117’. I have heard from a handful of reliable sources that bs angel’s favorite character is John-117 himself, so this theme will be taking awesome screenshots of the Master Chief himself. She did a fantastic job of taking care of the forums when she had her old position so as a way of giving back, that is what this theme is about. You can use the full set of Mark V, Mark VI, or you can go for the ‘Halo 4 look’ with the Ricochet Arm Pads, CIO Chest Piece, and CIO Shoulder Pads with the rest of the armor being Mark VI. The color of the armor must be either full sage, full olive, or full green and the visor must be ‘Legendary’(Only exception to the visor and armor color is if you are using just the color blind, or colorblind and next gen FXs). Outside of that, the sky is the limit.

The second theme is ‘Glitchtacular’. This theme is about taking screenshots of rediculous glitchs or rediculous glitching. The glitching can be from something as simple as weird matters from lag, to using Kicking Mantis, to firing so many projectiles as once, to using a gravity hammer for an assassination (It happened to me once via lag). Also with the photo of glitching, please explain how to perform the glitch if it wasn’t lag, or if it was lag, just say so. No explanation will prevent the photo from being qualified for the contest theme.

Make sure to post them here in this thread and have them addressed to the monthly contest theme. So, that is the contest themes, and prizes (unless I am really busy or sick) will be handed out June 1st, so lets see what people can create . Now to see the new screenshots people have created.
I am glad to see you experimenting with other lights with the FX map Z6NITRO. Yellows seem to somewhat bring out that FX on the ghost, but blue does work best, and I really like the black armor from ‘Ninja Assassins’ to compliment your Spartan-IV with the FXed ghost. For ‘I’mm Waiting…’, I like the utilization of cool colors with the Steel Armor. As for ‘Backup’, you did a great job capturing a ‘Space like’ background. Great job with your photos.
MrMartini85, you have some vividly colored Wraith screenshots. You did a great job utilizing the Juicy FX as well as utilizing elements of the land itself, as you used the background and the hills very well in each photo. Well done with your photos.

I have several “Master Chief” shots that would be great for the “Thank you BS Angel” theme. I have taken quite a few in both Mark V & VI armors. Some of these you may have seen, but they are definitely contenders for the theme.
The first three I just took moments ago specifically for this. The ones following are older.
These first two are extremely similar, yet have different moods, if you will. In other words, I couldn’t decide between the two. It’s strange how expressive Chief’s helmet can be, and how much that can change just by the slightest tilt. Kind of remarkable when you think about it.
“Olly Olly Oxen Free”: The background on this one (well, these three) reminded me of the woods on Reach where the young Spartans trained from “Fall of Reach”, hence the name.
The following are the older ones I think you may like:
The Library: In this one, Chief looks exactly as he does on the cover of CEA, only he’s in some dark Forerunner structure being accompanied by 343 Guilty Spark
White Out: This was one of those accidental beauties … you’ll see what I mean
Monolith: This one is more about the background, but Chief is still front & center
Power Drain: I’m pretty sure you saw this one before, I think we had talked about it.
Haven 117: This is a neat one only because of the blatant abuse of “next gen” and “colorblind” … lol.
Meltdown: Epic Chief
“You Brought Such Ineffective Weapons to Combat the Flood”: Name speaks for itself.
There you have it. I hope you’re not too annoyed by how many I posted … I have more, but I had to draw a line somewhere. Chief is just extremely photogenic. I guess he has one of those faces.

This was in regular multi player BTIS, the ghost was there and then it was gone. I finally found it in theater. I would call it a lag-glitch??? I know that after the person in the ghost spawned back in they quit, not sure if they would care to know how it happened, as long as it never happened to them again. Made for a unique screenshot though

For me, this is more for screenshot opportunities than proving my Spartan skills (or lack there of….).
Any thoughts on a map that would look good without FX lighting?
Maybe Juicy and Colorblind, or would the colors be to bright?
