Well I wasn’t in the last bulletin but oh well, onto the pink theme.
The only problem with pink is that I have a massive case of screenshotter’s block. I’m not sure where to begin on this theme and I’m wondering if anyone here wants to help me.

@ Mecha - I liked “bright” and “Planet” . I think the colors in “bright” went well together and the black and white armor on “Planet” really fit the back ground space scenery. Thank you for posting!
@ Gothic Lucy - Congratulation’s with “Solstice” in this weeks “grenade” spotlight. It was my favorite

@Topsniper707- I think the FX Juicy brings out some pinks on the legendary visor and some weapon skins. Also when you are in the out of bounds soft kill zone’s it will give the area a reddish hue at about the 8 second mark. That may work with some armor colors (just a thought, no experience). I looked in my list of previous screenshots and maybe 2 have some pink. Hopefully “Brown” will be a spotlight theme in the future, I seem to have lot’s of ideas for that color

Congratulations to everybody whose photo was featured in the ‘grenade’ themed screenshot feature. This week’s theme is ‘pink’. Now I know this may sound awkward, but when the theme was ‘purple’ weeks ago, some people were producing more pinkish than purple screenshots. For those that have done so, this is your time to rise with them . Good luck to everybody who will be featuring photos for this theme. A little hint: the Juicy Gadget FX is great for turning Orange colored armor rose pink .
Congratulations to you as well Mecha Sh0ckwave regarding your photographer forum medal. You most certainly earned it and it looks like you have some new screenshots to share as well. I like them a lot, and from I can see, you really like using the ‘next gen’ gadget FX. I see you have had some practice utilizing it, as your screenshots look awesome. They all seem to have a unique feel to them and the coloring is different. Well done with your new batch of screenshots.
I happen to have some more photos as I had another Rumble Pit game night last night with Cartwright5 and Cizlin for photo and commedation purposes. Thankfully, another local friend returned to Halo 4 from battlefield 4 last night and joined in on the fun. Even though being a vehicle driver is more his thing, Prepaidmountain made a return with Cartwright5, and with the four of us, we managed to get some nice screenshots.

Still Remember the First Photo Op
‘Slice and Dice’ was actually an accident of a photo where Cizlin and I apparently sworded an enemy Spartan-IV simultaneously. The teamwork photos were created for photo op purposes, which worked out well, especially ‘Teamwork VII’. ‘Still Remember the First Photo Op’ has a bit of a story to it. Back in the days of Halo: Reach, I was getting screenshots with Cartwright5 and he slowly looked over at me with an energy sword. I said “What?” with his response being silence. After a couple of seconds, he sworded me and started laughing, so whenever I have a gaming event with him present, I try to assassinate him at least once and get a photo of it. He feels that I haven’t gotten over that time, but I do that for laughs, lol.
As for ‘Hunting Party’, Cizlin, Prepaidmountain, and I teamed up to take out an enemy spartan-IV who we felt was ill-legit, which we found out later was true, as we found that individual spawning into the map with a certain BR BLAST that they shouldn’t have had.

Thanks a bunch man! Glad you like them! Fun fact the armour on “planet” is actually just simple yellow but came out as black and white…a good mistake if you will

The next gen is kinda my go to FX. obviously I try different FX but the next gen one really suits my shot style! Im glad you like the new shots. Can’t wait to get some Pink themed one’s posted for you all to see

@ MrMartini85 - I agree, I enjoyed Ricochet Rebound. My in-game screenshots did not turn out as well as yours. I thought “Benched” was funny and my favorite was “You have the Ball”.
I saved the RR maps and went back in and played around some this week. I turned off teams and did not use any special FX. I believe GridLock has pretty good lighting.

“I wear my sun glasses at night” the song dates me and was not great, but it is one of those that gets stuck in my head…

I attempted some “Pink” ideas last week, it was a bust for me. And after the 1st photo session in Pink, my Spartan decided to average a 0.5 KD in my initial multiplayer games. Must have been a sign.

I was going to say that I remember the song as well (I mean, I do) but I looked it up and it’s 2 years older than me, so for once on this forum, I feel kind of young … or am I being presumptuous in assume the average age on this forum is 16 instead of nearly 30? lol.
You definitely did a better job capturing that skull-ball. I was having a hell of a time trying to make the blue streak work and you pulled it off by having it beaming from its eyes. Well done.

To start, congratulations to everybody who had their ‘Pink’ themed photo featured in last week’s feature. This week’s feature theme is ‘Adrift’, so best of luck to everybody who participates in this week’s theme.
Quite the bit of good screenshots since I last visited, let me look at them.
topsniper707, I managed to get quite the chuckle from ‘Breaking all of the Rules’. That was rather clever, I must admit. I dunno how you managed to get the FX you did in ‘Blue Flare’, but very nice FX .As for ‘Menace’, very nice use of either the Pen and Ink and/or Nova FXs. I really knike how the Spartan-IV is outlined in Pink. Well done with your photos.
Mecha Shockwave, ‘Turning Pink’ is rather interesting as it does look as if the pink color is taking over. I like the photo alot. Did you utilize Red and Purple lights with the Nova FX to create this? If not, I am curious to hear how you pulled this off as it is a nice photo. Well done.
MrMartini85, it seems like you enjoyed Ricochet Rebound based upon your photos . I enjoyed each of these, Ricochet with a Space-like feel to it. Well done with your photos.
Z6NITRO, you also have an interesting set of Ricochet Rebound Photos. ‘I Wear My Sunglasses at Night’ actually gave me a bit of a laugh. The ball looks like it has blue shades and looks like it is a bit ‘happier’ than normal, lol. Well done with your photos.

Pink Soul. I am unsure exactly how you managed to pull off this FX as the color expands to the background, but well done with your photo, an original as usual .
RECEPTOR 17, I had a great time having a session where we tested out a Pink FX utilizing Juicy and Nova FXs on Shatter with Red and Purple Lights combined. Congratulations on getting Piercing Pink. featured as well, as you did that photo on your own and the amount of pink was balanced enough that other colors were visible. Pinpoint Needle was really nice as well, well done with your recent photos.
I have some new photos to share with everybody, and I will start with my ‘Pink themed’ photos, and I know, I am late again, lol. RECEPTOR 17 and I messed around with a Pink Luminescent FX on Shatter that I mentioned above, and here is my results from it:

‘Birdman’ was an accidental discovery when going through footage from a Quick Draw match and provided me with a good laugh. ‘Hit the Brakes’ was during a game of Neutral Flag. I splattered an enemy Spartan and noticed S452 going for the flag and last second let go of the thrusters, throwing myself on a side angle, barely missing him. The other two photos were from a recent game of mini slayer.

@lizking10152011: I actaully used the purple light and orange to with the nova effect. so you were close to the mark. The map environment really made the pink stand out. Glad you like the shot.

Adrift should be fun. I think Color Blind + Juicy work well on this map.
I tag most of my screenshots with the map name so I believe I already have several in the hopper.
and lastly:
I took several screenshots after a SWAT game teamed with Neonsnewo (my youngest). I actually led most of the game until it timed out and the lobby screen came up and he saw I was in the lead. We did place 1st and 2nd and were on the winning team!
(I was not number one, oh to be young again)

I did accomplish last kill “in-game”, and after the game was over someone on the other team felt they were due an assassination, “Busted”, I think I also got last kill after the game
