I too long for the recon to be the centerpiece of the SoTW.

The second one looked better on the TV ha ha. I’m going to go back and re-take it. Try something a little different with it.

I’ll probably do two of them, but i don’t think they’ll make it to the top. I’m gonna try to do the Incineration Cannon one with a suicide.

The second is real good. I like that the incineration started on the gun, good capture.

Remember Riot, they dont need to at the top to get picked, i know you’ll take some good ones.

Thank you. It reminded me of this when I was taking it. How they’re both in different states.
After going back and screwing around with the same concept, I sorta got something similar but I’m not sure how I feel about it.

Umm, actually, I was wrong, its easier to do in Firefight.
All you have to do is have insane movement stuff set up for yourself & fly in an out of bonds area, then die. Then go to theatre, one second before you die, hit the button to unlock the orb but hope it is still locked, then have spartan die by advancing the right bumper one click. Then your free to roam. Works in halo 4 as well. Halo 4 multiplayer, use thruster pack or sender node and throw reciever node on normal in out of bounds area. I have not yet broke out of forge island as 343i got smart and done made a teleport function. ;(

I’m liking my Gemini Incineration one, as I’m a gemini. It even got the scatter-shot to look like it created it.

So, this is my first post on here, I was pretty into creating screenshots on halo 3, however I missed out on Reach due to not playing Xbox for a while… but that’s besides the point.
yesterday I decided I’d see what it was like making screenshots on Halo 4 and tried to get some ‘incineration’ shots. Been finding it pretty hard to be honest, I’ve only managed one that I’m satisfied with but yeah, any tips or criticism would be much appreciated

It’s a good looking shot, I would try an get in a slight bit tighter next time, but that’s just me. Practice makes perfect.

From what I remember I was struggling to get the plasma in shot with the spartan as well since I kept loosing focus of one or the other.
But, if anything, not getting it perfect has mad me determined to get a better shot in the next day or two. I forgot how much i enjoyed it

Very nice! Good use of shields. I like the effect it gives off around the spartan.
Sometime this week I am going to strip down maps, place spawns at key locations for shots and post them to my file share so you guys don’t have figure out how to get to certain areas. Then you can download to you Xbox and get straight to shooting.
Also, I will be going back and picking some of my favorite shots and awarding backgrounds, emblems, and armor sets.
Look for that to happen at the end of May!

Wow, thanks a lot! That will definitely help. Also, thanks again for showing me how to use the background on Vortex, it definitely is one of my favorite maps to take shots in now.
