Fair point, I wanted to to use a map that complemented the legendary visor and longbow was the best for it, and while taking the screenshots I thought I try out some scenery shots too, so they are quite generic.

Good evening everybody. I happen to have two new photos to share that I have taken, but before I do so, I see many creative minds have posted many new awesome photos themselves since my last visit.
dakka02, I do enjoy the photos you have taken on Longbow. You managed to capture a couple of the relay that show detail that I previously missed. Well done with your photos. Reminds me of the night an old friend and I found some really neat stuff with teleporters on that map, and even figured out how to get up on the relay(Yes, the 10 second soft kill timer killed us, but it was fun being up there.).
Z6NITRO, I really like the lighting and shading you have captured from lighting effects in your recent rocket race photos. That combined with the angles you have used gives the photos more of an action feel. Great ideas and timing with taking your photos. I also like your new photos, as they seem to have a dynamic feel with a combination of the binary rifle’s lasers and the blue glowing ring in the background.
Gothic Lucy, as usual, you always impress with your photos as well. ‘A Million Eyes’ actually feels like either a Spartan Visor of sort, of the eye of an insect. Really unique idea with that photo. ‘When the Lights Break’ has a unique feel to it that I just can’t explain. Amazing photos overall, well done .
The two new photos I happen to have are relating to Halo: Reach although they were created in Halo 4. Did you ever wonder what Carter, leader of Noble Team’s armor generally would have looked like (Minus custom decals, dents, etc) if he had survived Reach and recieved upgraded Spartan VI Armor? From this photo, you should have a better idea:
As for the second photo, it pertains to Kat, and it is meant to be funny. How many people here have played Halo: Reach and either had Kat drive them off a cliff, or was splattered by Kat while she was driving? All of my local friends who have played Halo: Reach have experienced one or the other at least once. So, for a good laugh:

As for how my photos are linked, they are indeed linked to my tag history. The reason for this is that I can link them this way once, and be done with it, rather than instead linking it to my fileshare, in which would eventually become a dead link as I do update my File Share, and if the photo isn’t there, well it won’t show up.
Watch out for Kat if she is driving during your solo campaign play, especially if she is driving a wraith (Should you take one from the enemy and get out of it, she will try to drive it) or warthog. I dunno if she was programmed to act ‘mentally unstable’ in a vehicle and do crazy things intentionally to go with the storyline of her mentally suffering due to loss of teammates, or if the game just glitches and she goes AWOL from time to time.

Both really great screenshots the second one made me laugh, after I heard how bad Kat was at driving I automatically demoted her to gunner so I never truly experienced the terror that is Kat’s driving. Now you are making want to play reach again :).

@ Gothic Lucy: Great stuff as ever madame Gothic! I’ve been a fan of your Silver Collection for a good while so it’s great to see some new additions for it. A Million Eyes though is my fave from those three pieces you posted, great use of the Impact windows to make that piece.
@ Z6NITRO: Scope Wash is my fave from your submissions on Haven (yay to my favourite Photo Set from Halo 4!) You framed the lighting perfectly inside the Screenshot with good centering in that piece so well done! Love the Rocket Race pieces too btw.
@lizking: Ahhh yes, Kat and her maniacally mad driving habits…Never let her drive the Rocket Hog in Tip of the Spear! Nice reference to the Reach characters from Noble team! You thought of maybe doing similar for Emile, Jun and Jorge?
On my own end, I managed to find and purchase something I thought I’d never find on British shores; the Macfarlane toys’ Scout figurine in rust colours with the Scout TOXIC skin included! Naturally I snapped that figurine up immediately and put on my new Scout skin as soon as I got home from New Years. With the placement of the sceondary colour on the TOXIC skin, I have finally returned to my original Halo colours back in Halo 3, Blue and Gold!
So with these new colours and armour skin, I decided to pop onto Perdition and Ragnarok to display my old colours’ return:
Return Fire: A very simple screenshot involving the fire from the AR lighting up the wall beside me. simple but effective!
Pale Rocket: This screenie and the one below both utilise the blast from the fired Rocket giving the bright and relatively unblemished background behind my Spartan to give the full focus on the Screenie on the Scout and nothing else. I think it shows off the new armour skin and pretty well too.
Bright Scout: Same as before, but with a more frontal look of the Scout.
Evac Order: My proudest piece from the set on Perdition, love the orange light form the emergency screens paired with the shadowed form of my Spartan. I used the weapon switch trick too so I had the rocket Launcher held at rest.
And finally, two taken on Ragnarok by the beach end to show off the new skin and old colour return with no FX or anything:

Great find on the Scout Toxic Skin and the opportunity to create a little nostalgia!
Good shots all, My favorite was “Return Fire”.
I like the additional lighting you get from the muzzle flash on the wall and the dark / deep colors of the armor and visor.
I also liked “Old Colours”. Including the background scenery made it more natural to me.

Anywhom, I have read Receptor17’s question, and the answer is yes. As a matter of fact, here are the results from that. Keep in mind that this is what their Spartan’s base armor would most likely look like upgraded to S-IV with out custom additions and battle damage had they survived Reach (Well Jun did anyways).
Through doing so, I did stumble upon some interesting things as well on daybreak.

Also, because I have been in such a Reach mood (Not to much to play, but to try to replicate looks), I decided to try to do a S-IV variant of Reach armor from my Firefight buddy of the past.
I was really excited with my results and this thread being stickied, but I haven’t forgotten about my fellow photographers and their recent contributions.
I can see you are experimenting again with those awesome elements you like to incorporate into your images Receptor17. I personally like ‘Evac Order’ as the photo has a feel to it as if it were telling a story of a grim situation. The lighting in it is a bit darker than normal, but it fits right with the other elements of the photo. Keep up the awesome work on your photos.
Even though she hasn’t posted it here yet, I do happen to like Gothic Lucy’s new photo ‘Nightshifter’ . It has a nice touch of purples, yellows, whites, and greys. This photo and the FX used gives the spartan in the image a creepy, but awesome feel, but also I see the transition of dark to light with the spartan thrusting into the dark. Interesting photo Gothic Lucy. I like it alot.
