Alright! I took 3 variants of this scene I set up, and honestly, it took some time to find the adequate place to keep taking shots and finally forget about Erosion! Honestly, I am loving these new shots BADLY. Take a look:
This is Forge Island, and I used a teleporter to go inside the biggest one. I put a teleporter upside down where my spartan is standing at. I keep him in place by surrounding the teleporter with one way shields, so he can sprint but always staying on the same place. The one way shields also contributed for some more details on the pictures. The vertical lines you can appreciate come from a gravity lift.
For āCopperā and āUndergroundā I blew up a Mantis close to the teleporter. The explosion is very big, so I can move around and find the perfect angle. Something hard to do when we talk about fusion coils or other small explosives.
> Iām back once again after a week or so of not posting! But in that time Iāve made at least 100 Screenshots with some friends from Midland Base (strangely, a number of our Screenshots form our 3 sessions have become some of the most popular this week!)ā¦yes I am quite crazy! Hahaheeheehoho!

How did you save the Smashing Punkins Game Type? Binary Scout has a Halloween feel to it as it looks like blood splattered on the wall. Well done with your photos once again. I also see that you partied rather well on the sixth of November. Very nice .
>
> Man alive, thanks for the many praises there lizking, I am most humbled!
> āVintage Bug n 17ā was very much a lucky opportunistic shot which I am really glad to have spotted! Itās amazing how much lighting an exploding Rocket can provide, especially with the āNext Genā Forge FX active!

> I saved the Smashing Punkins Gametype when I was playing it during Halloween. When you want to save a Gametype, just go to your File Browser through the start Menu, go to Temp. History for Gametypes and save the Gametype! Same applies for game videos too so you can keep them safe! If you want to link up to get the gametype send me a PM and Iāll see if I can join you from the UK for a small session of Punkin smashing!

> BRIGHT EYE5 that is definitely a shoe in for this weekās Gravity Hammer theme! Youāve managed to get everything done just right with the Hammerās placement, the blue light on the hammerās head and the armour (Iām an absolute sucker for Scout armour). I ensured that it was tagged āHalo Waypointā instead of HaloWaypoint for you when I first found it earlier and gave it a like. Iāve also tagged it wiht āGrifballā as that deserves to be noticed for the Top 10 Grifball Screenshot of the Month competition o0beX runs at GrifballHub. Great work!

> Okay and with that, itās time for me to share some of my own creations. hear the groans and whines of despair Now now, I know Iāve taken a hundred or so since I posted last, but I wonāt spam you with all of them, just a handful of specific favourites:
>
> - First of all, I have Subzero, which was taken on Meltdown with Juicy and Colorblind active as always. I really love how the Steel and Ice blue on the armour blends in perfectly with the scenery. Easily my favourite Screenshot from me this time! I also had some fun inside Blueās spawn-base whilst sprinting to get a really good TRON feel with the armourās skin and colours in Grid Scattershot (which is now my desktop too).
>
> - Iād never realised until this weekend how deliciously beautiful Complexās landscapes on the edge of the playing area is and itās definitely getting some more attention form me in the future! Following on the Gravity Hammer theme, I managed to get 2 good Screenshots in my Air Assault armour with the landscape called Wilderness and GB Observe. Naturally, Juicy and Colorblind where in effect again.
>
> - Back on Meltdown, I also messed with some vehicles with Battlebug85 and one hting I love doing is reversing a Ghost or Mongoose into the man-canons on the map so they fly forwards. I managed to get one great silhouette Screenshot of the ghost whilst doing this in Ghost Silhouette.
>
> - I also had some fun on Haven too with my friends and fellow Midland Base members Poetepoet and Battlebug85, again with Juicy and FX in play whilst running around with Gravity Hammers and Energy Swords. A handful of highlights form that session include Hammer Salsa, Relentless One, Glance Down and Drop Bear.
>
> And thatās that form me for now! Good luck to everyone who submitted a Screenshot for the Gravity Hammer theme and looking forwards to seeing what people produce for the next theme after Wednesday night!
>
> 17 out.
mega facepalm This is what happens when the Nutty Welshman makes posts at 6am without sleeping all night⦠My apologies Noble138, Iāll get that edited now.
Well I am very glad to report to everyone that the Guilty Spark emblem is now available for those who played the Birthday Fiesta! Naturally, I decided it needed some Screenshot attention, so I took 2 Screenies on Complex with my favourite āJCBā (Juicy + Colorblind) FX whilst in my Recruit armour:
And on a separate note I forgot to mention last time, thereās a certain Screenshot being used for the Multi-Team playlist active on Wargames. That screenshot would be my very own āMagnetic Blueā, which I took on Impact in one of the dark valley areas with the Juicy FX on. I love playing about on Impact with Juicy and colorblind on in those dark areas as you can just focus on the Spartan whilst in a black background. Very useful for āglowyā weapons, like the Railgun, FRG, Needler and even the Mounted Turrets!
Iāve also been doing some Grifball Screenshots with Battlebug85 again, this time on Thin Ice with Juicy and Next Gen active:
Two-Handed Run - Taken as Bugās about to do the slam down Ballssassination on me, kinda reminds me of a rugby player running with the ball two-handed.
Red Halo - Taken just as Iām running into the score plate. I really like how the ring looks reminiscent of the Halo Installations plus the opposing colour of red to the blue environment.
GB Swordssassination - Taken as Battlebug Sword Assassinates me mid court. We made sure we were smack in the middle, so you could have the lovely space environment in the background as I get sliced.
Ashen View - Taken as Iām looking up at the ashes of Battlebug85 after doing the āuppercutā Ballssassination. The ashes really stick out well with the Juiicy FX and Next Gen adds some great shadowing behind.
And thatās it from me again, now to wait to see what Halo Waypoint reveals as next weekās Screenshot subject!
Congratulations to everyone who got their photo in the bulletin. Shout out to Eyes and Lucy for some very nice ones.
But now, we turn our attention to the map Harvest. Letās see what you guys can cook up.
Hmm, Harvest eh? I wonder if Iāll find any reference to Sif on my travels aroudn the Map? Thereās some great spots on the Map for scenic shoots involving the JOTUNS working in the distance and the āTiaraā orbital lifts in the sky.
If you go to some of the lower corridors, you can get some fun shots with bright lighting and also have some plants growing in the background inside little glass cases.
Oh and naturally, plenty of vehicular nonsense to make some funny splatter/air-time/explodey Screenshots too!
So letās see what we can all make folks! Good luck!
Thank you SO much for all the support everyone! It fills my heart with joy to have been able to get my Halo Photography out there for the world to see! I seriously couldnāt have done it without you guys This is what community is about.
That being said, Iām going to try again to get a photo featured. If not featured, at least thrown out there! Harvest is such an expansive thing that Iām not sure where to start.
But I do have a few oldies that I really like. Maybe Iāll try with these. Let me know what you guys think
Harvest is a BIG map with a lot of diversity, it is my favorite of the Crimson map packs.
These screen shots are with Juicy FX. I believe I included Receptor17ās āscenicā suggestionās
Juicy can mess with the Legendary Visor and the Light Rifle site by giving them an orange/red glow.
I think I got the right angle for the Visor to be gold in these screenshots.
Havenāt really played with this map so to get good shot mite take me some time.all the best guys/girls.and congrats to the people who get these in the bulletin : )
Hey guys, I just wanted some feedback on my newest screenshot titled āAll Nightmare Longā¦ā I took it for the new harvest theme for the spotlight. Let me know what you think and throw it some likes and Iāll definitely return the favor!
@smilelyken: I think the screenshot turned out well. I am also a fan of scenery shots. I liked the idea of using colorblind and tried a couple of different concepts.
> @CBW010: I like the concept of multiple Spartans in a screenshot, I have been considering to give it a try. Great job on āAll Night Longā¦ā
Thanks bud! Lucky for me, I have a few extra controllers laying around the house. It is incredibly hard to do four Spartans at once. But the more you do it, the easier it becomes. I would recommend starting with two and working up.
Iām a fan of your Fotus Underglass shot. I saw you guys talking about scenery shots, and I love them as well, they are just so hard to perfect. A tip to you guys: On Harvest Forge, direct your monitor out of bounds until he explodes. Pause your clip at the time of explosion, and there will be no rubber bands to pull your camera back inside the map, allowing you to capture shots such as thisā¦
Hey guys! Me again, with another submission for the harvest spotlight⦠Inspired by the events of āMidnightā. Iām very proud of it, one of my favorite works yet. I hope itās yours too! Iād appreciate likes and comments for it and Iāll be sure to return the favor!
