Hey photographers, my name is oObeX. Nowadays I usually make Grifball screenshots for GrifballHub.com. However, in Halo 3 and Halo: Reach, I often made other screenshots.

Ghost - this was inspired by one of my Halo 3 screenshots.
The Storm - this one earned me a star in Halo: Reach.
UNREAL - this was one of my first screenshots in Halo: Reach.

I believe this is my first time posting in this thread. I’m impressed with how much activity there is here. It’s almost like this thread is its own section on Halo Waypoint.
I don’t usually make screenshots for The Halo Bulletin, but I decided to make one this time for fun…
Finally, since this is the first time I’ve actually posted in this thread, and I don’t know much about what’s going on here, let me know if I’ve got this right. I just read on page 29 that there is a monthly contest with prizes, courtesy of deluca34. It also sounds like members can submit as many screenshots as they want, and it doesn’t matter what type of screenshot it is.
If that’s true, I would love to participate and submit some of my screenshots for this month.

Well after a weekend and a bit away form technology whilst storming a French Fortress for a paintball event, I am back!
Gotta say folks, there’s some damn delicious Screenshots being posted up for the ODST theme! The gallery from this week’s Bulletin should be looking stunning when it’s posted on the Saturday!
I decided to mess around and work on my own ODST Screenshots after returning form France using Impact as the set. I mostly used my usual Juicy + Colorblind combination but then I also tried on with Next Gen, Colorblind and Olde Timey with a good friend of mine as he dipped his toe into Screenshot taking. He’s done pretty darn good too with his attempts:

Congrats to everybody who won in the October contest Deluca held. Great pictures coming along from everybody here! I just… wait I won as well? Well, I will have to PM you then Deluca as I wasn’t expecting that, thank you. I guess that answered my question regarding this photo: Is Deluca Pondering or Snickering?
I must say DHG Siul S249 that I am really impressed with your ‘Out of Darkness’ photo. A very nice Black and White photo that brings out the best in terms of detail of the armor selection you decided to use. Intimidating, powerful, and deadly is clearly said with this photo without a question of a doubt.
Asa for Riot Roja’s ‘Brothers to the End’ photo, it brings out a lot in terms of a push comes to shove time for when ODST and Spartans are working together. It looks like split second decisions are being made here between the two before getting to action to get the job done.
As for Receptor17’s photos, as usual, you always impress . Your constant use of dynamic angles, colors, and lighting always bring out the most in your pictures. Extremely thoughtful ODST pictures as well, Blast Zone Being my favorite.
Smileyken, well done on your photo as well. The use of a Spartan’s shield’s recharging with other lighting has given your recent photo a dynamic perspective.
oObex, you seem to have some original ideas there. They have some interesting results that impresses me. Keep up the great photos.
Noble138, your recent photo reminds me of a story, one in which an imcoming storm approaches. Well done on your use of angles as well as the kill ball in the background.
I have some new photos to share with everybody. There were a handful of photos I have taken from the Devil’s Night Community Event that thy ReaperMC hosted, which was a lot of fun, and even deluca tagged along for some matches. I have a whole assortment of photos, however I am going to post the more artistic ones here. Thanks for the compliments lizking! but I cannot take credit for Blast Zone though, that owuld be my “mischievous twin” Poetepoet who took it in his first real Screenshot photo shoot with me whilst I showed him some tips and tricks. He’s done flippin’ awesome for his first real attempt!
With the Screenies you’ve taken, Awesome FX really takes the biscuit for me, a fantastically dynamic Screenshot! Very apt for All Hallow’s Eve.
With Smashing Punkins in the playlist for the moment, I’d strongly advise everyone plays it and then saves the gametype into their Local Files as the green and orange look absolutely stunning on the right maps! I took up a challenge form Halo Wapyoint’s Twitter accoutn and have made a boatload of Smashing Punkins screenshots in my Temporary History but here’s a handful of highlights:

Oncoming III - A simple piece where I’m being attacked by 2 Recruits. I sadly did not survive the encounter.
Saunter - A simple looking up Screenshot on Simplex with my Oceanic armour and my new Cyan helmet, after finally earning the “From the Brink” Mastery. I like having the Sun included in this to add to the brightness.
Orbital Light - I love utilising the Orbital helmet for the skull on the front. This was just an opporuntunity Screenshot when I paused and turned around to notice the light column behind the Spartan.
Green Silhouette - I am very happy indeed with the lighting and angle on this one, taken just after I’d jumped down to the bottom level on Haven where the Mancannon is just as the game finished. Haven really provides a lot of great lighting and shadow places.

I am happy to hear that you liked my screenshots from Devil’s Night Community 2013. The photo ‘Awesome FX’ was honestly a fluke, an accident so to speak. I have a handful of photos with the ‘Giant -Yoinking!- punkin’ as Deluca calls it, lol, but this was created oddly enough from people messing around. I think it was RJCCJ who spawned an Auto Sentry for fun, and S452 destroyed it. The photo you are seeing is when the turret blew up, so if it wasn’t for them, that photo wouldn’t exist, so partial credit has to goto them.

I can see that.
Just practicing…. my 2 this weekend, Skyline, juicy and colorblind. Trying to match the color’s of the light rifle. I think I will see what the plasma pistol colors will look like next time and carry a solid color alternate weapon in addition to the pistol.
