> I was testing out Recharge and Survivor last night on Ragnarok and when I went into theatre to take another look I managed to glitch out of the normal map boundaries. Here are some photos:

Whoa! Cool

I’ve got a few screenshots. Could you please tell me what you all think, and which is your favourite (if any) Mark V pic?

I’d appreciate if you could say how I could improve, as I’ve never really done screenshots before…

Wow! That’s amazing!

How do you get that lighting?

Since the Champs Bundle came out i might as well throw my third Majestic Screenshot out there featuring Paul Demarco.

Very nice as well. I am enjoying the FT Majestic series.

Gotta admit, I like all three of the Mk. V ones Chocobo! Really nice work! I think #1 though just about wins me over thanks to the lighting above the Spartan.

I really love the ODST Screenie too with the Damage Boost red outline. Very nice touch to add to the Screenie!

Expect Ricochet and new armour Screenshots form me in the future folks and best of luck to anyone here who submitted a Mongoose Screenie for this week’s challenge!

Thanks man,now that the Bundle is out,i am able to better recreate most of Majestic due to the fact that they wear Ricochet forearms which are actually the original Recruit.

Good evening everybody. I am glad to see some new awesome screenshots since the Champions Bundle has come out. CAVEMANcr, very impressive work glitching out the map so we could see the whole thing. I was actually beginning to wonder if you could glitch out Ragnarok and would it be worth it. Thanks to you, both of my questions there have been answered.

Chocobo007, very impressive job on the lighting sources and perspectives of your photos, as it gives them a dynamic edge, especially your Mark V Test 2 photo, very well done. Well done with your Prefect Armor photo Apollo Creed. It has a dark feel to it. Did you happen to use the ā€˜Next Gen’ FX in this photo to give it such an effect?

Keep up the great work as well on your Fireteam Majestic photos Xerosus. You’re doing a great job with these and I am glad to hear that the Champions Bundle provided you with more resources to create more photos. Receptor17, great job on your Mongoose themed photos. They have the feel of a Spartan using his trustful vehicle to travel though Forerunner Territory on lightbridges, which is awesome.

Harzilla X, you have done a great job on your Solace themed pictures regarding Fire and Water. You have captured great backgrounds that emphasize the element with the Spartan himself, which could allow people to think up of multiple scenarios for the photos. Keep the awesome screenshots coming everybody.

Compliments of the Champions DLC Bundle, I do happen to have a handful of neat photos myself that I would like to share with the community here. Let me know what you think and enjoy:

343 Guilty Spark Revised

I revised my initial 343 Guilty Spark photo that was a Halo: Combat Evolved Reference compliments of the Mark V armor being released. I also took care to make the alignment of everything almost identical of that from the scene in Halo: CE.

Found the Way Out

Through glitching on Perdition, I found this area, which although you can’t get on the elevator, it would be the only theoretical way out of Perdition, as all the other exits are closed and locked and the maintenance elevator is raised. Finally, Spartans can evacuate, lol.

Outcast Glitch

The photo speaks for itself, the farthest you can go with a teleporter without it despawning to try to get to the spacecraft in Outcast. You still die though.

Searching for Something

A photo on Pitfall where two fellow Spartans search the ruins of ā€˜The Pit’(Pitfall from Champions DLC) from Halo 3 for something. What they’re looking for? Well, I’ll leave that upto you to decide.

Lizking10152011-Halo Reach Armor

This photo shows off the armor I implemented from the Champions DLC pack to make my Spartan IV look as close as possible to my Spartan III counterpart from Halo: Reach. If you want a reference to look at, click Here .

Changes

Changes shows the changes in Armor I went through from Pre-Champions DLC to Post Champions DLC, so people have a better idea of the fact that I was trying to make my Spartan look like my Reach counterpart.

Complex Glitch

This happens to be another area of Complex you can get to when you break through the barriers. Keep in mind though, you have to put creates under the floor, or you will fall though.

Wish You were Here

Wish You Were Here is supposed to be a postcard in a way of three Spartans hanging out on a cliff that leads to a beach. The name is a reference to Pink Floyd’s ā€˜Wish You Were Here’ as well.

For Fun

For Fun is a photo that I hope can make the weekly Friday Screenshot Caption someday, as I would be very curious to hear what people would come up with.

Zapped

This photo was taken on Vertigo using both Juicy and Next Gen FXs. I put a teleporter up to the area where the electricity was and activated my Autosentry AA to make it look as if the Spartan is being electrocuted.

Peaceful Islands

Peaceful Islands is one of two landscape photos I took on Vertigo to reflect different halves, kind of like Yin and Yang so to speak. This photo is supposed to reflect a more peaceful landscape.

Calm Before the Storm

Calm Before the Storm is the other of two landscape photos I took on Vertigo to reflect different halves. This photo is supposed to reflect a more stormy landscape where a large-scale storm is approaching. I hope everybody enjoyes these photos and keep the awesome photos coming yourself  .

My friend and I decided to try and load up something Mongoose related, simply because that is the latest theme, and so we decided why not use a sand dune outside of Pitfall for out landscape? Our final agreed screenshot came up as this:

Drive By

Also, I experimented within Pitfall, and thought this was pretty cool.

Broken

Soon we will throw out some ā€œshockingā€ photos of the power and supremacy of the ODST. Stay tuned

Back again with some ODST and some cool shots from Erosion’s Grifball Arena.

Hello everyone, I took these screenshots and I would like to get some feedback.

Looming

Didn’t dig to far in post thought I leave this here I call it forge motion. Animating stills Gumby style. Just use recent screens here in your file share here, and gimp is what I used.

That is actually very cool in itself. However, this is more reserved for Screenshots within Halo 4, rather than content created outside of Halo 4. I suggest making a separate thread for something like this.

Nice job though

Hey look who showed up

Good evening everybody once again.

I do happen to have three new photos to share with you, however, I would like to compliment several of the people who have posted after my previous post as I see some interesting photos.

PerceusSOZ, you have actually left me curious with your awesome photos. How did you do the oddball assassination animation with the energy sword in the photo Determined? The same goes with your ODST photo where the Spartan is holding the knife. Mr FancyBones, you happen to have some unique photos yourself, especially the Looming photo. It reminds me of Kiku’s Shadow from Magic: The Gathering’s Saviors of Kamigawa set. Elite Tenure, you have a really unique animation going there, may I ask how you did so?

Let me know what you think of the new photos, have a great night, and continue to keep the awesome photos coming yourself  .

The ODST was from an Airassassination, hence the knife movement. As for the Oddball assassination with the sword, it is a little more complex. It can only be done on Grifball. Have one person stand on their team’s goal, and assassinate them while holding the ball as they stand on the goal. The game will detach the ball because you scored, and sometimes (doesn’t always work) it will pull out your primary weapon (in this case the Energy Sword). It creates for really cool effects using the melee weapons. Check my file share for others doing a similar tactic, mixing usage between the Energy Sword and the Gravity Hammer.

Took a few screenies tonight to kill time and get back in to the swing of things.

- Mark V -

- Mark VI -

- SPARTAN II -

Next chance I get, I’m gonna try something with a Forerunner theme to it and maybe try my hand at a ā€œre-imaginingā€ of the Ghosts of Onyx cover. Just need to figure out how to re-create the SPI and what pieces I should use for the Mark VI. Any suggestions?

The EVA helmet is the closest look to the SPI armour from what we have to play with in Halo 4’s Armoury, in terms of shoulder pads though, Ranger might be an option, or one of the tiny ones, like Enforcer.

For Mark VI, use the Mark V body, arms and legs, but switch up the shoulders and Helmet with the Mark VI stuff.

Hope that helps you.

I’ve been happily messing around in Pitfall in the past 2 days and now with Pitfall itself being a chosen subject for this upcoming Bulletin (congrats to those who got their Mongoose Screenshots chosen! Bit sad none of my lightbridge ones got chosen, but ah well, onto the next subject!) I decided to go all classic with the Mark V armour and some Olde Timey FX to add to the past feeling:

I also did a handful of raw Screenshots without any FX and also one from Ricochet since I LOVE the new game type to pieces!

Here’s hoping one gets chosen this week! I’ve got further nutty plans in the works involving the ODST and Mark V armour, some nice nostalgic flashback style ones is what I have in mind.
