Good evening everybody. I see some very awesome screenshots have been taken by many fellow members since I have last visited, all of which I am very impressed with. Keep up the great work everybody.

In particular, Harzilla X, I am very interested in hearing how you created your unnamed photos on page 15 of this thread, as it seems you created some very interesting effects, that is of course if you are willing to share your methods. The first unnamed reminds me of a Borderlands style effect in terms of the spartan you used, where as the second one reminds me of a slow motion photo from a moving scene.

I do happen to have some new photos to share with everybody, all of which I’ll actually have to give description to. All of which will be Halo 4 photos.

Flying in Metropolis

Flying in Metropolis was a photo I took in Perdition, and was able to due to glitching (trial and error) with teleporters and mounted machine gun turrets to bypass the first set of death barriers. Although I was unable to get past the second set, I still accomplished what I wanted to with this photo, which makes a really nice Banshee themed photo as well as a nice computer wall-paper. I also did use the Juicy FX in this photo.

What?

The photo ‘What?’ was actually taken from a Fiesta Match and is one of my contest entries for the ‘funny’ theme. This photo in my opinion would also make a nice weekly caption photo. The poor guy just getting the Rocket Launcher never seen it coming and must’ve been wondering why his teammate was backing up, lol.

Victory Dance

The photo ‘Victory Dance’ was another photo taken from a Fiesta Match and is another contest entry for the ‘funny’ theme. This is the way my spartan landed, after taking out an enemy spartan in the air with a gravity hammer, but looks like he’s being obnoxious by dancing via throwing one leg up in the air at a time.

Lol

This is yet another photo for the ‘funny’ themed contest that came from Fiesta. I honestly have no comment regarding this photo, other than the fact that it is funny. I hope everybody enjoys the photos and keep the awesome photos coming yourselves as well  .

Those screen shots went all that difficult to produce. First I started with this map, Light Dark 3 Its a map that has a pitch black area. All I did was cause an explosion while on the back of a mantis or just running away. But because it is a pitch black area you will have to have patience and go through the film very slowly at the moment of interest (explosion, armor ability discharge, ejection from vehicle ect.) and examining it at all possible angles.

Here’s a shot I took in Mini-Slayer about a month ago.

Thank you Harzilla for explaining how to create such neat effects like this with that map you provided. When I have the time, I’ll see what I can do, as it looks like you can create some unique effects with that. I wonder if the FX, such as Next Gen or Juicy can add to the dynamics of these neat effects.

I do happen to have another photo I had previously forgotten about as well, which can be for the ‘funny’ theme contest. I Broke the Forklift

This photo was another one taken from the Perdition map and once again required glitching via Mounted Machine Gun Turret. Using the Machine Gun Turret in Forge Mode, I was able to actually get inside the stationary forklift. From there, for the photo, my spartan gravity hammered the forklift, so the picture would give the effect that my spartan tryed using the forklift through it’s computer, but the computer didn’t want to work, so when all else fails, smash it. Enjoy and keep the awesome photos coming  .

To address the funny here are two screen shots that I think are funny.
Piece of junk
Rock, Paper, Bullet

Stealing the EOD helmet! This was a random matchmaking game, So you know.

What if I told you… there is a Spartan in this photo.

I also took this one for the recent assault rifle screenshots… sadly not shown.

I can’t really see what’s happening on piece of junk as its dark but I like Rock, Paper, Bullet.

Last night was the very first time I tried using Forge to set up screenshots. Here’s what I came up with:

Night Hawk

Strider

These were both taken using the effects “Colour Blind” and “Old Timey.” A trait zone, a kill ball and a Mantis explosion were used to capture Strider. The trait zone was used to disable the spartan’s shields and to make him invulnerable.

Great thread with excellent and interesting screenshots.
If it is ok, I would like to include a few of mine.

Poser

This one was funny. In the process of assassinating this guy, when all of a sudden my left arm went missing and he got away! WTF?!
No Left Arm?!

Nice shots! May I ask how you got your spartan pitch black?

Did anyone find the Spartan in the picture I posted?

Also my post for the Funny spotlight

I thought you’d be taller

Agree with Deluca on this. Especially the first one. I’m not sure why but I find it stands out a lot compared to the rest.

Set up your FX in forge, save map, go to customs, regicide gametype allows you to use your colors.

That black is definitely modded…

I highly doubt it since you can make your Spartan pure white or black if you use the correct tools even if your primary isn’t white or steel.

It hardly seems fair to imply someone has modded because you can’t make yours fully black.

> Did anyone find the Spartan in the picture I posted?

Yes, actually. I set it as my wall paper, and even then he was hard to spot.
