But if you can manage to recreate it Smiley that would be great as the stance looks really nice and I think if you could make it somehow so the spartans are white and the background is black it would look great.

I canāt say Iām great either but eventually you start to get more used it and eventually more ideas start to come to you.
In reach I wasnāt great at it but in Halo 4 Iāve started getting a lot better with them.
Practice makes perfect after all!

I would really like to know how the artists make their awesome screenshot effects. I tried Saint Youtube and did not find anything. Time to try Saint Google.
Can anybody tell me how to make some effects? Specially uncolored, dark ones. I do not know how to mix Forge FX properly.

I agreeā¦some of them, i canāt even do, b/c Forge doesnāt have those type of effects. Iām beginning to wonder.

There are tips throughout this thread for using FX. I will post a few tricks right now though:
In forge>Gadgets>FX
Colorblind - This FX will give a black and white effect.
Juicy - This intensifies colors giving them a real brilliant look
Next Gen - Give a slightly darker shading to colored pieces and a really dark grey to already dark areas.
Nova - This gives a real bright look to areas, i like to use it in real dark areas to show detail that I otherwise couldnt get.
Old Timey - This one is kinda tricky to use, mostly I use it when it goes to the red, and black shades.
Pen and Ink - really hard to use, often you will lose your spartan in the mess of white. Easier to use plasma nades to get the FX.
We lost all the colored FX from previous games, purple, green and orange.
Other things you can use are lights, nades, explosions, and kill ball and barriers.
I gave tips on these a page or two back.
If you see pics that you want to get certain FX on, post them and I will tell you how to get emā!

Time to get them mantis shots done as well if I want to be a part of the spotlight!
I took a picture last night from a game I had as well but I never put it in my fileshare so Iāll have to come back later once Iāve done that.

I been so busy lately, hopefully I get a chance to get in there this weekend, I may opt to go the lazy route and repost some mantis shots from the vehicles comp.

Good afternoon everybody. Before I happen to share a new photo, I want to first thank everybody who liked and did attempt to download my āConeā themed photo, and it was just brought to my attention that on the Waypoint site here, the link to download it is broken. I have found the issue and resolved it, so try this . This fix will allow you to download it right from the site here. I never would have thought so many people would have actually wanted the photo, so I hope this helps .
I do happen to have one new photo. This photo is for the newest contest, the āMantisā themed contest.
For this photo, I wanted it to feel like a moonlit night with fog in a wooded area for a theme. Underwater in Forge Island with the Juicy FX works perfectly for this. In the photo is the moon itself (Although itās blurry due to the fog), as well as two lightning bugs. Now the question is, is the operator of a Mantis searching for a friendly or a foe? Iāll leave that for you to decide .
