Share your Halo Websites

Hey guys. If you would like to share a website you made about Halo, this is the right place.

Format:

  • Website Name

  • Website description

  • Website contents related to Halo

  • Website link

Please only post once. This is a great oppertunity to discover new communities, that you may have never seen before. It is amazing what types of halo websites people are capable of building. Enjoy!

This is not my website, but I am a member of it and I love hanging out on there.

Name: Halo Archive

Website Description (please note that this isn’t my personal description, I’m quoting the about page): This installation’s primary purpose is to be an Archive of the vast and expansive universe known as Halo. Throughout the Halo franchise’s history, there have been numerous interviews, articles, and other records. Unfortunately, as Living Time pressed on - and the fact that these records and sources aren’t widely known about - some are in danger of being lost. The Archive is a vast repository for all of these various sources of Halo lore; from Pre-Halo CE to anything current day information. Concepts, ideas, characters, and more are stored in our massive Archives, with even more to be cataloged. The Maintenance of Information is not the Archive’s only responsibility, however. The Halo Archive is a community. It is a place for story lovers from across the galaxy to meet, discuss, debate, and contribute. Archivers strive to learn and express what knowledge has been absorbed about our passions and endeavors - chiefly the Halo franchise. The Halo Archive forums are the place to do just that.

The Halo Archive Forum is where users can intelligently ponder the lore of any universe without worry. No fear of negligible-bans, judgment, or hesitation. While the primary focus of the Archive is Halo - and will be for a very long time - the Forums are a place where friends can relax; all the while asking the “whys and hows” of our favorite universes. Many friends have come, left, and been found again. Even if they lost interest in the lore some still check in and express wonder at a new update they missed or just come for a chat.

So join and get involved. Talk about the recent additions to the lore, or updates to matchmaking. Post the pictures you drew of Javik, the latest 10,000 character Fan-Fiction you wrote or get lore help for the game you are designing. Be a part of the community that is known but still hides in the dark. For that is where we abide.

Website Contents Related to Halo: The site is all about Halo. There is a project called, “The Archive Project,” which is attempting to summarize all halo lore and divide it into appropriate sections. The site is divided up into caste inspired by the forerunner’s caste system in the forerunner saga: Warrior-servants are the multiplayer team, builders know a great deal about lore and debate, lifeworkers search for more forerunners to join (I’m not one) and do something else, and the miners gather the knowledge and sources which are placed in the catalog.

Website link: http://www.haloarchive.com/

You won’t be able to choose your caste, by the way. You will start as an essence, eventually rank up to manipular, and the councilors will decide which caste you shall fit into (should you remain active).

Please check it out, I love this site and everything we do on there. (Builder master caste!)

This is my website: Halo Network + Project X

//DECLASSIFIED//SECTION 3
A work in progress wiki that hopes to act as an archive of declassified ONI Section 3 documents, communiques, mission logs, and more. Right now it’s still lacking in content, but we have hopes to build this up over time. We document things like operatives, glyph sequences and decoding methods. The glyph sequences mentioned are those you may recognise from the classified section of Halo Waypoint (I am part of the team that solved the puzzles to bring you the codes). The site itself was set up by fellow Section 3 and Halo Waypoint members.

//DECLASSIFIED//SECTION 3//IRC LOGS
As a follow on from the above site, this is my own personal site for Section 3 related items - more specifically for the IRC logs I maintain from the #halo4arg channel on Mibbit. A good deal of the logs are inane chatter, talks of playing Halo and Destiny, kicking trolls out of the chat, butthere is some good content involving Halo, lore and Section3. If you’re clever enough, you may just find a few easter eggs dotted around the site

I’m an administrator on this awesome Halo Website!

It’s called Cinema Central

This site is a place for all Machinima Directors, body/voice actors, CGI artists, writers, music creators, and much more to join together to help others make machinimas!
And of course, to show off their own work.
There’s also monthly contests, weekly/bi-weekly game nights, a chat box, forums, and a video highlight box to show off new content on the front page!

The majority of the site is about halo machinimas, and halo game nights.

Hope to see you there!

I am the administrator of a Halo Role Play forum.

It is called The New Order - otherwise abbreviated to TNO.

Our forum is dedicated to people who enjoy role play, with our major theme being Halo. While we allow people to RP other favorite franchises (such as Mass Effect, etc) Halo themed creativity / role play is the dominant franchise by far.

-We provide a shoutbox for our users so they can chat with each other in real time (keeping the forums free for role plays / creative stuff).
-We provide a fully integrated wiki to allow people to build articles on their original characters.
-Threads and posting is geared towards giving people the tools they need to effectively tell stories.
-We have a close-knit community, open minded, and very friendly. No ads, no spam so the site is 100% clean.
-SFW
-Even if you don’t role play, we still enjoy talking about games (especially Halo).

I know there are some people here who enjoy role plays (as I have seen a few). Hopefully a few of you come and check us out.

hope to see you there.

Technically CC isn’t just for Halo machinima, or even just machinima in general from my knowledge. Still, it is an awesome site that I love to hang out on.
