Hy guys.
Its a “you-know-that-he/she-is-a-Halo-fan-when…” kind of treath.
Yesterday, I read about a guy (in USA…) who asked Siri where to hide a body, after killing a co-worker.
I turned to my wife, told her about it, and I knew the Halo-fan would answer back.
And she did. Her response:
“Noob. If he asked Cortana, he would got away with it, took all the companie’s money and fleed to a distant country. Smiling.”
You?
Actually, I asked Cortana where to hide a body; her reply?
“What kind of assistant do you think I am?”
Probably not as deep as other answers will be, but when I hear words like “spartan”, “master chief”, or any name of a character or place in Halo, I think Halo. Also, I like to look on the clock for 1:17 and 1:04.
Lastly, when I am holding a set of keys going back to my car from a packing lot, I think of them as a Spartan knife and try to “special assassinate” the nothingness in front of me.
I play Halo music when I work out and pretend I’m an ODST in training. It actually helps a lot. >_>

Same.
Every single day, there’s a cloud that reminds me of something halo. Like a knife, the X across the Locus helmet complete with 4 score marks. Heck, even one that looked a bit like 343GS.
There’s a giant Billboard outside a manufacturing destrict for company named JOTUN. I think of Jotun Heavy industries from Halo: Contact Harvest… every time.
Whenever I’m staring into the distance at something I can’t quite see, my right thumb instinctively twitches as if to zoom in.
I can’t hide a smile if I look at the clock and see 1:17
Playing paintball gives me a rush, haha, helmet and a Covenant Carbine.
Having Cortana on my phone when 8.1 finally launches here will be nothing short of nerd nirvana.
ok, a few years ago when I was in school, I was sat in science, our teacher had this task where we would shout out words in a particular order, I got Halogens, I’m sure you guys know, they are NOT pronounced like Halo-gens, but have a different pronunciation, well I was a well know halo fan, so before it was my turn I kept saying to myself “Do not say Halo-gens” over and over, and when it became my turn to shout the word I said Halo-gens (not really sure how to write it XD) it was super awkward lol XD
Every time I got home from school, I’d see 3:43 on the clock. I also see a lot of 7 references in real life.
Also this one is a bit crazy but I have two older brothers, one is 11 years older than me, and the other is 7 years older than me, OMG 117!
My father passed away on September 24th 2004 he was born on January 17th in other words 117. They have been my favorite numbers since I was a kid and every year after visiting his grave I play halo. I am getting a 117 tattooed onto me as remember acne to my father and one of my favorite game characters of all time.
There’s a gas station near my work and whenever I pop in for a soda or something, the clerk always says “what can I get ya, Chief?” and often times I’m half tempted to say “I need a weapon.” But I’m sure he’d trigger the silent alarm if I did.

I have Cortana on my Lumia 520, and I can tell you you’ll be in weeping, happy hysterics the first time Jen Taylor speaks out of your phone and informs you how much fun Halos are to blow up, or tells you that she’s destined to save the galaxy in 500 years.
My Halo nerdiness? I’m always listening to Halo music, whenever I hand keys to someone I say “Captain Keyes…”, my birthday is 11/17 (almost 117), and I love making Halo references that no one ever gets. Also, I like trying to do 343 Guilty Spark impressions.
The number 343 pursue me. Almost scary.
I had a dream last night that I was a Halo 2 pro completely destroying the other team and the crowd was praising me. Yeah… I need MCC.
Well my birthday is on 11/7 (european style), so it always reminds me of 117 ^^
And when I see word Keys, I instanteniously think: Captain Keyes ?
Anytime I see the number 117 or 343, my mind instantly snaps to Halo. Don’t care if it’s the local time, a parking space number, or the amount of kills my friend got in an Extinction match. It’s my first thought whenever I see those numbers.
Sometimes, instead of saying “By God” when I see something that shocks me, I say “By the Rings!” instead.
I KNOW!! I m not alone !!! Thank the Prophets!!
Its curious (in a nerdish kind of way) that I find myself smiling to a LASO truck passing me, thinking “I m letting THIS LASO go, but just this one!” (BTW, my car is a Opel Corsa, H5 Edition ; ) ), the toillet paper named RENOVA and the Spartan in me silently agreeing that it is a $hitty map, indeed…I could go forever…
Try…just once…who knows, he might be a Halo fan too and answer…
-“Thats not gonna happen!”
XD
This just in…
Yesterday, in the kitchen, my wife (halo fan as me) handing a bottle of wine for dinner:
- Do you have it?
- No, you wont let go…
- Say the words, please.
- “the words please.”
Then we burts into LOL’s and kissed…
Just sharing…
