My greatest memory was the game in it self. The old saying “you don’t now what you got till its gone” is perfect for this. I played so much halo 2 I got bored every once in a while. now i would do anything to get that experience back

I got an army of 40 sword Councilors to beat the -Yoink- out of Tartarus with 20 beam rifle Councilors firing at him. Here’s a screenshot of it. Of course, the sword Councilors couldn’t damage Tartarus and most of them fell down onto the lowest platform which was placed right next to the death barrier… all crouching when they landed… dying.

Cairo Station LASO. Made me realize Black Eye had become redundant in H3. I could assassinate Ultras! SWORD wielding Ultras!! I also used Johnson to help me clear the hangar rooms. But the best battle was the one in the bomb room. Getting subsequent assassinations on Ultras without taking much damage is exciting! With H2 skulls, you can feel like a boss, CE style!

This, H2’s only known megabattle (megabattles feature a large number of Firefight type AI that swarm on your position. This one isn’t exactly large but it has the swarm trait and I don’t know what else to call it as it’s no naturally occurring battle).

Got a Banshee piloted by an Elite and had him do strafing runs against Tartarus. If it weren’t for the game’s vehicle deleting, I could have had an army of Banshees fight Tartarus!! (although it’d be difficult to get them to engage him).

Don’t forget about one of my favorites, when your Marine got pickled to death.
When I first got to the Arbiter’s first level, and saw the Energy Sword, I was so happy, and to also see that I can get into active camouflage, even though temporary, it was great!
ALL NIGHT FFA’S!!! some of them went all the way to 3000+ kills!
Me and my buddy used to get 10 tacos each from Taco bell and load up Double Team all night, it was was I expect heaven to be like.
Playing on foundation and having to set up barricades in matchmaking and custom games using the tiki heads. So much ceativity in Halo 2 it was amazing those barricades worked well for zombies. It’s not my favorite memory but I will willfullyshare more
Oh man, I cant even begin to tell you the amount of hours I’ve put into Halo 2. I’ve spent hours upon hours just doing splitscreen campaign with a few of my buddies. Not to mention the multiplayer… Every Friday for who knows how long (lost track of how long lol) we’d hook up 2 xbox’s and do 8-player splitscreen LAN FFA, Team Slayer, Zombies, you name it! Probably one of the best if not THE best time I’ve had playing not just Halo, but any game for that matter.
My greatest memories were the last few games I played April 20th, 2010, 5 day after the sever went down. I was one of the crazy people who didn’t log out on April 15 so I kept playing until I got the kick.

I thought assassinating reget would be like with a sniper rifle the first time I played it. Then saw I jump on him and punch him in the face over and over, it just doesn’t get much better than that!
^while there was like 30 elite honor gaurd in that small room that was epic

Going to get Pizza then coming back and finding out my buddy was Dual wielding Scarab Guns.
Finishing it again one of my fav moments is at the end when you face off against Tartarus at the end of the game. The few brutes he has left get pwned by you and all the elite councilors behind you. That moment when you know you’re going to kill his -Yoink- REAL GOOD.
