With all this talk going on about people wanting visible ranks in H4, I thought I’d go back and check my stats in H3 and see what my highest rank was.
Turns out, it was only a 30. Ouch.
Now granted, H3 was the first Halo I played online, and I only logged 346 games total, in 2011, at that. Most of the time, I felt like I was matched with people who’d been playing the game since launch and had everything figured out, while I was just derping around, trying to figure out where the power weapons were.
I wonder how I would do today. I’m almost tempted to pick up a used copy of H3 and see if I can get a 50 now, after having logged 2000+ games of Reach and getting a lot better at Halo, I think.
