Shadow...

Would anyone else like to see the Shadow return? It has been mostly forgotten about since Halo 2, and I think there’s still some untapped potential left. Even if it’s only in campaign.

If it did return, I would love to see it be drivable. Having it be placeable in Forge would be a plus as well, could be used for some pretty cool maps using Invasion’s replacement.

Meh, to be honest I’d be more interested in seeing some Promethean vehicles. The Shadow wasn’t really that impressive to me, but if it comes back I certainly wouldn’t complain

It’s like covie version of bus. I like it. ;D

If it’s in, that’ll be great!

If not, no big deal.

Forge and Customs would be very interesting with that vehicle though.

i dont really think the covenant will be playing a big role in this saga, mainly the master cheif and the forerunners and what is to be learned of the ancient evil, prob why the covenant look a little lesser and promitheans look all buffed up to take the attention away from the past enemies much more drawing you closer to newer mysteries

Who says they can’t be allies once this Ancient Evil is revealed? We would have a better chance working together.

…I always wondered why the Shadow existed in the first place.
It’s ridiculously slow for a transport vehicle.
It looks like something from the 90s.
Passengers aren’t even protected.

If it does come back, it’s gonna need a major overhaul both aesthetically and functionally.

I’d rather see the Spectre back

Forge yes. other than that i don’t really see a point to it.

I would prefer the Spectre return. But a shadow would also be awesome!

i can see that happening but usually not in the first game, maybe towards the end to middle of halo 5. usually the campaigns go so fast and tell a certain part of the story and then leave with a cliff hanger. i could see the arbiter returning in halo 5 and there they could work together again, and then halo 6, after working together for a long time i can see a great sacrifice of the true meaning of working together if the arbiter or cheif sacrifices themselves to save the other

I agree, but we’re going to be seeing the Covenant a good amount in Halo 4, even if the main focus will be of the ancient variety. If we’ll fight along side them in future Halo’s then it would make sense to give them some depth in this game as well.

hey you could be right, in the panels and videos 343 hasnt talked much about the covenant, there could be a lot of secrets in the game untold from being so brought up about the prometheans.

I agree. Increase the speed slightly and increase the aesthetic value. I’d rather the passengers aren’t protected though, as then they wouldn’t be able to shoot.

It seemed like it’d be more suited to streets and such, you know, city-assaults, like the New Mombasa levels. Forerunner worlds don’t have much potential for the niche the Shadow has in battle.

I’d like more concentration put into possible Forerunner vehicles, to be honest coughWarSphinxcough

It doesnt seem too important of a priority to me, but the more the merrier when it comes to forge. As stated above, i would like some promethian vehicles, or maybe even new covenant vehicles.
