SGT Johnson

Does anyone remmember the halo ce legendary ending with Johnson and that elite.I am hoping that they put the same ending in anniversary but try and explain how Johson survived the halo exploding by putting it in a terminal or something.Or if someone out there knows how he survived plz tell me.

That ending was for the luz, he escaped on a pelican.

That ending isn’t canon… and yes, it’ll be there. After all it’s just a remasterization of Combat Evolved, not a reboot.

And he survived the Flood due he was a SPARTAN-I soldier. He escaped the cuarantine (were the Flood was discovered in the level 343 Guilty Spark) and got a Pelican to get out of the ring.

Read First Strike for a more in-deep explanation.

Lol, it doesn’t say that. Sgt. Johnson is not a SI. I’m pretty sure the flood did not take Sgt. Johnson because he has some kind of radiation related disease, Sgt. Johnson is just a marine and a damn good one at that. Chief: an SII was being pushed to his limits fighting the flood so how could Johnson do it on hos own? Some how he ends up on a pelican with some other guys who make it off the ring.

Johnson is a Spartan l and he is also immune to flood infection but not because of radiation from a plasma bolt to the chest it is because of some rare condition he had inherited from his father’s side of the family which had lay dormant until it was aggravated by the plasma radiation from the plasma bolt that hit his chest.

When a weak infection form on installation 4 attempted to convert his body the disease, (which can not be caught its like huntington’s disease or cystic fibrosis an inherited disease) had the chance to fight of the infection and allow Johnson to recover whilst a dying flood rotted inside his body… EUGH!!

I’ve herd from many sources that SGT. Johnson is not a spartan. He does not look any better then maybe a black opps regular human. Didn’t SI’s have some sort of augmentation? Or at least some noticeable intense training? He looks like a regular guy.

Johnson WAS a Spartan I.

I remember Bungie joking that it was Johnson’s twin that was left on Installation 04.

> Johnson WAS a Spartan I.

YEARS ago I got into this, back then there was no ‘solid’ proof that he was a S-1, only communiques and docs that hinted at that. But as I said this was years ago, so if you have any concrete evidence which says he WAS a S-1, PLEASE SHARE!!! =D

Also I know this is picking hairs, but I thought it was when a crate of plasma grenades went off and it was the radiation from those that caused the change in his genes instead of a plasma bolt??

Just to let you know, you ‘may’ get flamed for that :L

Mainly because its Not Halo.wikia… Its Halopedian. Remember, Halowikia is the old spot for Halo information, The new spot is Halopedian. A year and some back Wikia forced all of its wiki pages to go to a new layout, which that -upon a bunch of junk happening with wikia- forced the admins and users to switch to their own hosting service… in the process getting their own domain name “Halopedian.com
Here is the good link: NameBright - Coming Soon

Now that I have that out of the way, Johnson is a Spartan 1. It is properly sourced Here

Yeah, I was going to link that page. Tell I saw it had the same basic info of saying he was a sparten 1.
Also I didn’t even know any of that happened. I guess now I know.

He shurely was S1, but i want to tell something about his sickness. what happened is that he was taken by the flood, but due his rare illness, he was useless for the flood, so they left him, leaving him some of the flood propertyes of regeneration (thats why he survive a lot). And he has a good relation with 117 cuz different reasons,1.- they have fighted in few places together fror humanity and . . .
2.- MC know about the rare illnes that johnson have because Dr halsey told him ( you can read that on halseys journal)
and he had enough moral to not inform ONI that he survived to the flood ( Because if he tells them, they would take johnson and kill him trying to replicate his condition to find a cure to the flood)

And well thats all i wanted to say, i couldnt stay quiet hehe ^^

actually FRANCISCOXBOXER is right, in the books johnson was part of the failed spartan 1 project (orion project). which explains why it says he has boern’s syndrome (so called plasma grenade radiation) which was just a cover up for project orion.

The Spartan l genetic augmentation drug is nothing like the Spartan ll drug that changes muscle density, brain function and bone strength it is actually closer in effect to the drugs that the rebels took to enhance physical performance so that they could be on par with Spartans the only downside was that it would destroy the users body within 3 hours upon taking the drug rendering the drug useless.

The drugs that were assigned to Johnson didn’t have the same physical effect as the rebels drug, it would just make him physically superior to every other normal human being… oh and they were not fatal. The only things that are noticeable side affects from the drug is Johnson’s height as you can see in the last ODST cut-sceen there is a noticeable difference between Johnson and the rest of the ODST squad and his light hazel green eye colour.
