I dont feel comfortable with replacing the main funny guy, but do think they might replace him (since he’s dead) so we can have a funny guy. REMEMBER YOUR FAVORITE SGT. JOHNSON LINES!!!

Sgt. Johnson was amazing and I don’t think anyone can possibly replace him.

I agree, it looks like the game has a darker tone than the others, kinda like Reach was. But the serious tone is perfect for the long awaited, epic sequel that we’re all dying to play, in my opinion :3
So, if they do have a Sgt. Johnson replacement, he wouldn’t crack jokes very much, I think.

I want a jarjar binks esc replacement called Shivy the Manic depressive. He speaks with a lisp and stutters a lot and shoots his gun through his -Yoink-. He dies early on
I don’t think we need a “funny” guy. Chief and Cortana had a good, funny rapport in Halo: Combat Evolved, and I hope that Halo 4 can go back to that in lieu of concocting a character for the sake of being funny. It wasn’t “he made a joke” funny, but it’s chuckle-worthy to see two stark personalities like theirs clash. And a chuckle is all you really need for reprieve.

I don’t think anyone can replace Sgt. Johnson. Hes the most bad -Yoink- marine ever. I’d prefer a new character to try and meet the Sgt. in awesomeness, but maybe in a slightly different way. Only Sgt. Johnson can be Sgt. Johnson.
Anyway, I’d assume there already is someone new.
