SGT Johnson must make a comeback somehow someway. As a cyborg perhaps I am not sure, Halo and the Halo universe needs Johnson back. He gave the games humor and soul, which was surely lacking from Halo 4 and made it too serious. Gotta change the pace, create highs and lows in the story, change of pace. Different emotions. Halo 4 was too monotone.
So for the sake of bringing a beloved character back, we need to sacrifice story integrity?
He’s dead dude, bringing him back will just ruin his death scene.
You know what dead means?
Dead.
Time to move on, just because Johnson isn’t there doesn’t mean new characters can’t be just as good.
Still puzzles me why Bungie killed off both Miranda Keyes and Sgt. Johnson in the lamest ways possible.
Unneeded deaths but they are now dead, atleast keep them that way so people would actually fear for the lives of the characters in the universe. But I certainly miss Johnson, I hope 343 comes up with a another great humorous recognizable character.
He’s dead, Jim.
Isn’t he dead?
We all Love Johnston but he’s dead and should stay dead.
The only comeback he should have is on Master Chiefs memories. Like flashbacks I wouldnt mind those.
Please no. Johnson is dead and there is NO reason to bring him back.
Also, please don’t cross post.
Dead dead in the bed.
Not sure if anybody get’s this…
If Johnson were to magically rise from his grave, Halo would lose any sense of danger in regards to characters.
Not an exciting prospect.
Johnson Dead, OP, since Halo 3 and won’t make a return, :(. Yet, having him as an AI would be cool, but that wouldn’t be possible nor will it suit many players, IMO.
Halo 4 was SUPPOSED to be monotone. Half of it was about Cortana dying of going insanely rampant.
And let’s not revive a dead human. Maybe revive a confirmed dead AI, however, but not permanately
Waypoint, wat r u doing? Waypoint no.
Waypoint. Stahp.
It’s been almost 7 years, let it go.
He’s dead Jim!
Edit: I just realized somebody already typed this.
No, just no.
He’s dead, so no.
But it was a poor decision on bungies part to kill him off in the first place. So to whatever individual it was that made the final decision to end that character, your decision was bad and you should feel bad.
I wouldn’t be able to take 343i seriously if they brought back a dead character in one of the most cliche ways possible.

Although Johnson had a independent healing factor, which was a side effect from fail-infection of the Flood super cells… he cannot recover from death… least not as he was… he may be re-animated as a Flood? But no… I agree he is dead! Probably alot more than Cortana as we see a body… a corpse.
