Sgt johnson.... "Hold Me"

If memory serves me correct, when your playing the last mission on legendary (The Maw), just Seconds before you see the pillar of autumn explode you see a short cut scene of Sgt Johnson and a elite fighting, they then stop fighting and start hugging each other. Now for some reason “hoping memory serves me right” Johnson didn’t say the line… “hold me”… Doesn’t he say that in the original game?

I’m fairly sure he said it in the Anniversary cutscene as well. It’s not very loud and in-your-face though.

I noticed they switched it around and had Sgt.Johnson grab the elites -Yoink- in Halo Anniversarys ending. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, I heard something different like “this is it”, or something along those lines.

Haha, just had a watch of it then. He still says, “This is it baby, hold me,” although the, “Hold me,” part is a little quiet. Also, Johnson cops a feel instead of the Elite.

I love the hugging animation, it looks so funny! :slight_smile:

Hilarious indeed, I find it funny how Johnson originally came into the story, meeting Chief in the middle of battle on a covenant ship. (Linda Died in the same Chapter, one of very few times chief ever shows emotional connections, usually he doesn’t verbally express it.)

I actually beat the mission on Legendary last night and completely forgot about this scene until it showed up (shame on me, I know). Made me smile :slight_smile:

I beat the game twice and didn’t hear it, I guess my volume was low? I was definitely listing for it , I heard the rest of the commentary. IDK!

Then the elite has “WTF” face.

Also, johnson does say it, its just quieter.
