Sgt. Johnson developed a syndrome which made him immune to the flood. He escaped Halo aboard a pelican with a few other marines.
There was no way Jorge survived a slipspace explosion that occured right in front of him.
Sgt. Johnson will NOT be in Halo 4, he died in Halo 3 with no way of survival.
There, that should hopefully answer everyone’s repetitve questions. Sorry, but I am sick and tired of seeing the same threads asking the same questions ALMOST EVERY DAY.
yeah thats what keeps buggin me. but the monitor could be in it (and i only say this because he was at the halo for a while and could have cloned himself somhow
List of never returning characters:

343 Guilty Spark
Noble Team (Nope, not even Jun)
Any other characters who explicitly died in the games or books that noobs refuse to accept because there noobiness gets attatched to the characters and will not let them die.

This was the cover story. The immunity actually came from his involvement in the ORION Project, retroactively dubbed SPARTAN-I when Halsey created the S-IIs.

All spartans are declared MIA when they’re killed…

Being English myself, I DESPISE threads like those. Especially the ones where the OP refuses to accept the fact that its his accent despite the subtitles.
If the laser shot through his chest or the fact that he passes away in front of the Chief isn’t enough, please take note of the corpse sliding down the falling debris

… As well as being in a destroying artificial world with no escape way and too close to God’s-own-anti-son-of-a-Yoink-gun (and Master Chief stealing his Warthog lol)
But I think there will always be people who won’t be able to understand Johnson is dead…
