I am in the UK and cannot join any matches. Wanted to have a session today and played a bit this morning but as of now I cannot join any games. Unable to match and problem with dedicated server messages abound.
This is the third time I have been in this position and I’m starting to get annoyed.
Any one else in the same boat?
Yeah. Keep getting a message that reads “unable to match”.

Yep, came here just now to check if it was my internet or the servers, looks like it must be the servers. Getting ‘unable to match’, ‘unable to join’, ‘encountered difficulties’ and so on. Have reset everything multiple times on my end.
Modders again, maybe? I heard some group did the same thing, or close to it, yesterday as well.
Well luckily I’m playing dota now and not Halo
Hopefully they would do some maintenance, especially on warzone servers

So annoying isn’t it.
I work full time in a demanding job and family commitments on weekday evenings really limited my play time.
The only chance I get for bigger sessions is in the weekends and the servers seem to keep going down on the weekends… At least in the UK
in in the past I was a heavy BF and COD player and issues like this were very rare. I love Halo 5 multiplayer and have become quite a convert. Arena is amazing. It is focused and super balanced which I love. Warzone is an interesting idea and is occasionally good, but often frustrating. It’s such a shame as its a great game but if these issues keep happening I may have to look elsewhere for my big weekend sessions
Why dont they just do something against it.
Same here, finished a match in Warzone, started another and couldn’t join. Same problem for every playlist
I was reading a forum on here yesterday talking about how people think some copy cat hacker group is DDoS’ing microsoft for christmas. XBL was down yesterday too and i guess some group has been bragging on twitter about how theyre gonna keep the tradition going and take down XBL for a whole week this year…

O please stop dude. If you did some research you would know it’s on Microsoft’s end and not 343i.
Is there no official statement about this? Other games are working. It would be nice to know if it’s expected to be fixed today at least?

Yeah 343I and Xbox I’m very happy with your Halo TMCC crap and the Halo 5 with problems to find players in my area.
It’s incredibly sad that people enjoy DDOS attacks if that’s what this is again (mentioned a few comments up). It surprises me how people actually get enjoyment from that and makes me wonder what’s wrong with them. I mean, it isn’t terrible because I can always do something other than xbox, but get a life kids haha.

Yeah I might have to go brave the Sunday chaos at the shopping centres to get some Christmas shopping done… don’t make me do it 343!!!

Totally agree. Others game are online via xb live so I’m not sure what the problem is here. Would be good to get an update from someone in the know
What amazes me about all these DDOS’ing guys is why do they always attack gamers? What does that even do? I know they are attacking MS’s & EA’s servers, but why not go after something like politicians, bankers, & oil companies? Let’s attack gamers, people just trying to have fun! We’re making a statement! What idiots. It doesn’t even do anything, they do it over & over then it comes back online.
