The major flaw in your thought is that ranked and sweaty Halo is only a minor subset of Halo’s player base. The vast majority of people who play just want to chill on a couch after work and relax.
I used to be into competitive Halo back in H2, H3, and until reach killed it, but I’m too old to keep up with these cracked kids now to be perfectly honest. I still play ranked from time to time but I rarely enjoy a sweat fest. More often I just want to wind down after work with friends.

Same here. I cannot remember the name of the place, I was in my 20’s back then but it was in a mall about an hour away from me. They held Halo 2 tournaments, would mainly give out EB Games gift cards. Fun times.

It is the simplest “solution” and solution is in quotes because it is not a solution, it is a workaround. I’ve repeatedly said I am in favor of it as a workaround but would like to see an ACTUAL solution to make Crossplay more balanced.
Yes you keep saying that and I keep repeating that a workaround is not a solution. Doing that does nothing whatsoever to FIX Crossplay. I’ve also repeatedly stated that I support adding the separate input modes. That doesn’t make the workaround any less lazy when we are talking about FIXING Crossplay.

Same feeling i play fiesta only as i am after stupidity. It is a game mode that highlights the benefits of MnK and the benefits of controller. It is stupid but im after fun.
Crossplay/input has exagerated the differences in that game mode which is why i prefer segregation. I dont have to wuestion the input and adjust my playstyle as rapidly
I totally get this view for Fiesta. That game mode is chaos. There are soooo many variables that would be impossible to account for. Balancing the game for normal game modes will never work for fiesta. Separate modes is probably the only solution for that one.

Im fine with balancing the two for crossplay providing they add option to seperate first as rank my get balanced but other casual modes may suffer

What? Again, we agree on adding separate game modes. With that, we would also like to see balance fixes so those of us that do want to play Crossplay can have that mode work as well OUTSIDE OF YOUR CONTROLLER ONLY GAME MODE!

Also, duh! If there was no crossplay than we wouldn’t be discussing the problems with crossplay. Just because you don’t want it or don’t play it doesn’t mean others don’t. The world does not revolve around you. We have agreed with you repeatedly on separate game modes, why are you still fighting us discussing what we want to do with our preferred game mode?
