Settings destroying Forge maps potential

After playing the playlist yesterday, and actually enjoying Halo 4 for a little while, the same old problems eventually became too much, and also show that the on disc maps in Halo 4 never stood a chance with the current MM settings in play.

Im sorry, but Ord. drops AND on map pick ups can not co exist. Its ridiculous the amount of weapons that appear. In Shutout, now their is no incentive to move when everyone could get snipers/shotguns. Around every corner, somebody can have a weapon.

Its obvious PODS must go, on map weapons play much better, but I think we can guess which will be removed, and it isint PODS.

The other design mechanics introduced to Halo 4 are destroying both classic maps AND new maps. It just shows that designing maps with so many gimmicks is impossible. Shutout, ruined by Jetpacks, camo boltshots and god knows what other weapons are around. It just shows that the old and new map design philosphy cant handle the things in this game.

Small maps are ruined by Instant spawns. Nuff said.

CTF

The waypoint eliminates good flag runs. I always know where the carrier is, and can just ping him from anywhere.

Auto pick up makes me scared to go near the flag. And just let me bloody drop the flag!

Is it just time to admin things dont work, and remove said settings.

I agree 100% maps play horrible with settings. And dmr ruins them as well

DMR is fine in short maps, having a quick killing utility weapon that isint luck based is actually good, and close to the weapon balance achieved with the CE pistol and the rest of the sandbox in that game.

Flinch and bullet magnetism are the problem, and that problem extends to all weapons, not just the DMR.

Camo + boltshots are horrible for small maps. Horrible.
