This topic has probably been covered before but… I still cant get it through my head why service tags HAVE to be 4 characters long. I know this is a small nitpicky thing but we’ve been able to have less than 4 characters in a service tag before, so why not now? Are 343 just that lazy? I doubt there is a real good reason why it cant be like it was before.

He probably wants something with just three letters. It forces you to pick four. Imagine a guy named Tom, wants to have TOM be his service tag. In other Halo Games this was possible. In Halo 5 you would need a 4th character

Mattmans right, I wanna put things like ONI or LOL but i cant because it dosent allow 4 letters. As I said, it is a small complaint, so I can see where your coming from.
