Exactly that’s what I’m saying, are they going to give us an update or what?

I’d rather they just work the problem rather than worrying about babysitting us. As someone that works in IT infrastructure I know that when there’s a problem the must disruptive thing can be people constantly asking if it’s up yet/when’s it going to be up.

A little bit of communication from a forum rep wouldn’t go astray though. Or even a central status page so we don’t have to continually prod for updates would help, a lot.

I work in IT infrastructure as well and we service thousands of users. Giving updates even when your still working on the issue is imperative to helping your customers and those inside your organization know what’s going on.

I get that it’s different strokes for different folks but 343 as I’ve mentioned on more than one occasion are particularly bad at giving updates of any sort. To be honest though I surprised we had someone in the forums earlier this morning acknowledge us and to that I say good on him/her for doing us a solid.

Very true, I was surprised and grateful when they did that. I guess that guy went home

No offence but when you work with millions of customers you do absolutely anything and everything to inform them and give them the best service possible.
343 are keeping us in the dark, it takes two minutes to go on a phone and post a message saying what’s going on. There are more issues with the online portion of the game than just connectivity.

This

The issues have nothing to do with the servers themselves. Stop bringing that up. The problem is 343s actual matchmaking system.
