A feature that was always one of my favourites was the service record on Waypoint. I could look at all the cool medals I’ve earnt, my overall K/D my Win loss ratio and pretty much everything else.
A feature even the Halo Wars franchise had might I add.
Its pretty gross that none of these features are active in Halo Infinite, what’s even worse is that the new service record has access to pretty much only the store and battlepass. This is a downgrade and a pretty sad one. Come on 343 I love the game and I have no doubt the campaign is going to blow me away but these key features that are absent are embarrassing. I cant view my K/D in a competitive shooter.
They mentioned how they were going to update stats. I get your upset in the moment but this is why researching before posting would be a good idea.
Most of the problems they’ve stated they will fix and update and mentioned they have plans to update.
As of right now I don’t really care about this as there’s so many other features that should be priority.
Did a deep dive into a while ago in what was basically the Halo 2 service record from bungie. Was crazy seeing my K/D W/L in games. I even remembered some of the matches vaguely.
That said I miss the weapons leaderboard from past games. I was always proud of having over twice as many Needle Rifle kills as the next highest weapon in Reach, because it made me feel different from all the other players maining the DMR.
Back in the day of Halo 2 if I remember rightly there were heatmaps showing where you’d been killed from and all sorts! Can’t imagine that’ll come back but sure a service record is in the works; does need to be.
Halo Tracker seems to be getting more detailed every time I look at it, if it helps for now
Yea it is a joke. You can tell they had no time or priority for it other than making sure you could access your challenge swaps and the store. So lame. It really feels like everything about halo infinite is clinical and devoid of any passion or fan service. Just a cash shop with a barebones game attached to it.
