I think it would be a very cool idea if your spartan on your Halo Waypoint service record and in the matchmaking lobby would hold your #1 most used weapon in Halo Reach multiplayer instead of the default weapon. On Waypoint every spartan holds an assault rifle while in the matchmaking lobby every spartan holds a DMR. Wouldn’t it be cool if your spartan held your #1 most used weapon (in my case a sniper rifle)?
Maybe this isn’t practical to put into Reach in its final months but why not put this feature into Halo 4? It would be a cool aesthetic and it would also tell your teammates/opponents what type of player you are. Do you sit back with the sniper or do you rush with the shotgun?

I remember someone suggested this at Halo Fest, I believe it got the, we would look into it response and a possibility for Halo 4.
